I'll preface this by saying the backyard work we had done was the biggest project we've committed to since becoming homeowners 12 years ago. We went into the process a little intimidated and stressed but those things were quickly alleviated after meeting with Caleb. As far as structures go, our backyard consisted of grass, minor landscaping, and a wooden deck we were oh so tired of maintaining and repairing. Once the thought of switching to composite popped into our head things quickly snowballed. Our intention was to tear down the deck, make it a little smaller, and move to composite. We also wanted to add a little bit of concrete for a firepit, seating, and grilling. A hot tub was on the bucket list too. We met with five companies. Creative Concepts wasn't the least or most expensive but right in the middle. What sold us was Caleb offering his suggestions and vision versus all others just going along with what we (as first time renovators) thought we wanted. We loved Caleb's plan of cutting cost in some areas and extending a concrete area for a potential hot tub. It was too perfect not to jump in on! The deck came out beautifully with the added privacy wall. Even during the deck build we had a couple small things to change and it was no issue. The concrete work was completed first, only needing to fill in a spot once the deck was finished. In the end we got everything we wanted and things we didn't even know we needed until speaking to Caleb. I can't honestly list out a single con. To that point the only thing I'd say is if you've never had concrete work done, be prepared to do some yard/grass rehab afterwards. The process can certainly tear things up with the machinery required. The photos I've added are before landscaping has been done. That will take some time and I'll update once it's completed. I'd recommend Caleb, Brent, and Aaron all day every day.

We were in need of a new deck. Caleb came out and helped us with the design and pricing for a new deck. They pulled permits and went above standard code in the build. Pat from the office was very professional and kept us updated on all of the paperwork. Aaron met with us daily during the build and did a final walk through. They cleaned everything up. We love our new deck. There is a long waiting list but it was definitely worth the wait.

Caleb, Brent, Aaron did an excellent job on our deck from start to finish. Caleb had excellent design ideas, pricing was transparent, and paperwork (insurance, contract, permit) was professional. We talked with 5 different contractors and Creative Concepts was the clear choice. The construction itself was also top notch. Aaron quickly demoed the deck to make way for Brent to pour our concrete patio/sidewalk and build our retaining and seating walls. Once the concrete was cured, Aaron went to work building us a high quality deck at light speed. The team discovered wide spread defects in the decking before we did and had replacement material delivered without slowing the project down at all. It was great to have a team doing quality control on our behalf as if it was their own house. Creative Concepts and Design built us a high quality deck at lightning speed for a competitive price. I highly recommend Creative Concepts and Design.

When we made the decision to get a bid from Creative Concepts and Designs, it was a great one! Caleb was so kind and easy to talk to. Really listened to what we wanted, he is definitely a professional with deck design ideas. They were busy, so we had to wait a while to get our new deck, but I will say it was well worth the wait! Caleb, Pat, Aaron and the crew were all wonderful to work with. Our new deck has exceeded our expectations in every way. Would highly recommend using them!

Creative Concepts did such a great job building the deck 11 years ago on my last house that I called him back to quote the large deck project on my new house. He was extremely knowledgeable about city codes and brought in an architect to help me with some design concepts. Caleb offered many great ideas to save me $ and still achieve the aesthetic and quality I was after. Aaron did a quality job building the deck and was great to work with - very professional. Very honest, responsive and transparent with pricing. Would highly recommend Creative Concepts

I am so happy with my new deck! The process was seamless and I am happy with the results. Caleb took time to explain everything to me in detail and made sure I was happy. Pat and Aaron did a fantastic job as well!

Caleb was very responsive throughout the project. We had multiple bids and Caleb was the most up front about potential issues we could face with the city and helped us navigate that. Even when we had questions long after the project was done, Caleb was quick to respond. Everyone that sees our deck comments on how nice it looks, even the city inspector was impressed with it. We now have a great outdoor space with a screened in area to enjoy bug free outdoors!

Creative Concepts & Design designed and built a pergola for our backyard patio, which turned out better than I dreamed. It turned a spot that gets tons of sun into a nice shady living space that provides a little privacy and helps to complete the outdoor area. From the initial consultation to the installation process, Caleb and Pat were great to work with, very friendly, responsive, and easy to get a hold of. It took just two days to complete the full installation and clean-up process and the crew was professional and very courteous. The pergola turned out amazing, turning a hot, sunny patio into a relaxing outdoor living space.

I decided to go with this company for a lot of reasons the most important being communication, they were easy to contact, they would return your call within a reasonable time. They explained everything in great detail. We were able to go the store to see the colors and materials in person which for my wife was great, she is very picky. Every person I came into contact with was friendly and helpful. The deck looks amazing!

CC&D did an excellent job building a cedar pergola for our 1925 house. Everything was done in an expert manner with attention to detail and without delay. They were on-time, in budget and finished quickly and cleanly. Our highest recommendation. We will hire them again and recommend them to anyone.

Our old deck was falling apart and was too dangerous for our three little kids. We had more than 5 companies come out and bid on the project. Caleb with Creative Concepts & Design was the third company to come out. From the beginning, it was an easy and great experience. Caleb came out to the house and spent more time discussing the project with us than any other company. He talked through different design concepts and options with us. He was also the first one back with a detailed plan and estimate. A few weeks later my wife decided she wanted to make some changes. We were able to come in and look at the different options for material. After briefly talking about it, it was clear Creative Concepts was the right company for the job. The project included tearing down the old deck, ripping out the old patio, and pouring a new patio. Brent and his team took care of the patio. They did a wonderful job. They leveled out the ground, and even spread some of the left over dirt to others areas of the yard to fill in some low spots. Aaron’s team came in next to build the new deck. They got the new deck built in just a few days. They even replaced a section of the siding that had some pretty bad dry rot where the old deck was connected. In all, the experience was great. There were no hidden charges or costs. The deck is exactly has we had envisioned. We’ve already hosted several people for different events and got numerous complements on the deck.

The whole process from designing the deck to the final finished project was very seamless. The one thing that resonates with me is the whole time I felt very confident in the deck builder we chose and no reservations. We had several bids and none of them were as professional as Caleb, none of them were as creative and thoughtful about the design. Caleb's crew worked closely with the landscaper to ensure the overall design, with the patio, deck, and pergola all meshed together. Very happy with the finished project.
