Dharma Developments

We had an excellent experience using Dharma Developments. When problems arose they quickly found a solution so our construction schedule was not compromised. Their ability to deal with the City of Ottawa and their Examiners and Inspectors was excellent. In August 2017, we met with the owner of Dharma Developments. We were extremely stressed out and worried after purchasing a 1950s house. We purchased the house from the original owner and the house needed a full renovation. The best decision we made was hiring Dharma Developments for the entire reno. We had a very tight budget to work with and renovating the house from top to bottom was a must, everything had to go, down to the studs. They took the time to meet with us and right away, they put our minds at ease. They put a plan together, assessed the work, provided estimates and recommended that we hire a designer to draft a plan for the house to help us with all the modifications. We basically knew how much everything was going to cost prior to the start of the project. Dharma made it extremely effortless on us. They brought in Engineers to assess modifications to the house, applied for permits, hired the best trades to do the work, ordered all the materials at the right time. It was so impressive to see how everything came together. The renovations started in September 2017 and we moved in to our newly renovated home in December 2017 before Christmas. Due to the planning and organization that was done by Dharma Developments prior to the start of the renovation, the project was not only completed on time but also within budget. We couldn’t be happier. The quality of their work, their professionalism and the relationship with their clients is what makes this company great to work with. I speak so highly of this company and recommend them to anyone who is planning a big or small renovation, they will not disappoint!
