I contacted Buffalo Lumber two years ago to inquire about buying Western red cedar siding to replace 32-year-old decaying siding on our ranch house. This company proved to be absolutely true to its word, with every employee that I encountered (totally online) as helpful as they could be. The only hitch came with the delivery company (a subcontractor), which ignored my instructions about the size of truck that could navigate a turn in my driveway and showed up with a too-long trailer. We had to quickly hire a few guys to unload this lumber at short notice and walk it up our driveway. But in terms of the product itself, it has proved to be wonderful during the two years since we had it installed. (Just be sure to follow the installation and prep directions provided by Buffalo Lumber.) I just sent Buffalo Lumber "before" and "after" pictures for them to post on their website.

Buffalo lumber company was great to work with, our siding showed up on time and as described. It was about the only thing in our house building process that actually showed up when it was supposed to. Buffalo Lumber hired me to photograph over 20 homes that use their siding around the Northeast. Chris and Suzanne are a pleasure to work with, they made me feel like part of the family and I heard the same thing from all of their clients who also raved about the siding. It got to a point where I could spot their product from down the street because it stood out as the best looking home on the block. I purchased cedar siding from Buffalo Lumber for a garage build and a small out building. At their recommendation, I purchased the Customer Select grade. Initially, I was concerned that the quality of the lower grade would not be what we were looking for. Once the siding showed up, we were relieved to see that we were worried for no reason. Even with the lower grade, the quality was great and the waste was low. Our contractor commented several times, that he has seen siding from other manufacturers graded higher but with lower quality. Buffalo Lumber was great in helping us select the finish we wanted and the lumber showed up on time, as promised. My wife and I are very happy with the way the project turned out and it's safe to say, we would recommend Buffalo Lumber as a supplier and we are very happy customers.

I had the opportunity to collaborate with Buffalo Lumber as a design photographer for one of their projects. Their painted wood interiors are very much on-trend, and they had done some truly remarkable work in my part of Florida. I was invited to produce a series of photographs of a newly-constructed transitional estate that featured Buffalo Lumber's painted wood interiors throughout. The home was stunning, and Buffalo's wall product made for the perfect interior canvas. I'll let the photos speak for themselves, but suffice it to say that nearly every angle of the project was worthy of a photograph, and this was due in large part to Buffalo Lumber's interior product. Beyond the product itself, the people at Buffalo Lumber were so great to work with. They were communicative, friendly and actively involved in the process. We were a few states away from each other during the project, but immediately responded by phone if I had a question. I imagine their clients get precisely that kind of treatment. In total, they're terrific people and they do excellent work. If only all collaborations could go so well!

Buffalo Lumber was a dream to work with. We purchased all the tongue and groove for our house from Buffalo and it was such an easy process. The lumber they sell is a higher quality than you find at local yards...but even with shipping their prices are competitive.
