Linda & her team at Blulens are worth their weight in gold! We moved into a wonderful, older house and needed a lot of furniture and some remodeling to update parts of the house. My wife found Blulens on Houzz and we are so glad we did! Linda, Megan and Michal are very responsive and gave us great selections and ideas on everything from which knobs to put on the dressers to remodeling a bathroom and creating a mudroom. We appreciate their attention to detail. For example, the Blulens team not only helped us find the perfect furniture for our home offices, but even designed it so our Zoom backgrounds were on point worthy of a high score on Room Rater:-) We like how our house is more functional now and looking more modern, yet everything Blulens presented to us still goes with the classic character of the house. Linda and Blulens have good contractors and tradesman to work with and recommend for completing home projects. A design firm like Blulens can get a better price then retail on most items, so we ended up saving money on furniture. In addition to their skills and good work, the icing on the cake is that Linda, Megan and everyone we've met from Blulens are so cool and a joy to be around and work with! We want to thank Blulens for helping us make our house a home! Highly recommended!

Linda Smith at Blulens Design had the perfect sense of style for our home and our wishes. She is very professional and easy to work with. We absolutely love what she did. She took the time to really listen to what we had in mind to redecorate our home. The entire project was a very positive experience. I liked her approach to the project. Instead of looking at the "big picture" we started with fabrics in our color palette. We eliminated all fabrics we did not care for. Then we started with furniture, rugs and draperies. Knowing what fabrics and colors we would be working with made it easier to envision the final design. Linda also helped with paint colors, wall paper, lighting, accessories and art work. She created a living space for us that is calming and peaceful to live in. I am sure it is unique to us. She does not repeat designs with other clients. I highly recommend Linda for any interior design project.

We really enjoyed working with Linda to decorate our century home. She understood our style and was able to design several rooms for us that we are very happy with. She also connected us to some really talented contractors. It was a pleasure working with her and her team!

Linda brought me in, to a whole home project, to design several storage spaces for her existing clients. The project consists of a large walk in closet, bookcases, a pantry and a couple coat closet with decorative glass doors. She is professional, responsive, and a pleasure to work with. Linda’s design in collaboration with a skilled home remodeler and select tradesmen maximized the utility of our kitchen’s work and dining space and our laundry room. Over the course of two years, we worked with Linda Smith and blulensdesign to remodel/refresh/update nearly every room in our home. Linda performed a variety of services, including paint and finish selections; the design of the gut remodel of our master bedroom/bath; selection of new furnishings for a family room space and a “nip/tuck refresh” of our kitchen, which included new counters and appliances. I’ve worked with numerous decorators/designers over the past few decades, however, Linda stands out from the pack for a number of reasons. First, and I think most importantly, the final design product in my home reflects my tastes and requirements as opposed to being a cookie cutter design aesthetic imposed by the designer upon each and every client. Linda may gently steer my selections in tasteful or stylish directions, but the result is a space that fulfills my needs, not Linda’s ego. In offering selections for the client, Linda also pays heed to home’s architecture as well as long-term marketability: she can interpret current design trends in a way that makes sense for the ages, not just the moment. I also appreciate that Linda was sensitive to our budget. All designers can help you find “splurge” selections, but I appreciate a designer capable of offering selections at a variety of price points. Most importantly, I appreciated that I could be frank with Linda about budget, without feeling pressure or judgment. It has been over a year since we finished the last of our projects with Linda, and I am still just as much in love with the spaces we created together. Each room is unique, yet works together as part of a cohesive design. Highly recommend!

Linda is organized, creative, and clever with use of space and design. . She understands our needs and is careful to select items that fit our vision. With her easygoing personality, she keeps us calm and looking forward in a positive light. We couldn't be happier with our choice of designers. We plan to use her again, when the next project arises, whether it be residential or commercial.
