We made a costly mistake in choosing Beyond Beige. Our experience was frustrating and stressful. Beyond Beige was Beyond Budget by 40% and below expectations. The billings were late and vague with excessive charges. We were not informed that our assigned designer was working from Ireland. They were not transparent nor efficient. We felt misled on many levels. Communication was very poor resulting in several mistakes. Five months ago we expressed our concerns to Reisa but nothing was done. We lost faith and trust in Beyond Beige. We do not recommend Beyond Beige. Ed and Ginette

We are thrilled with what Reisa and her team created in our 2400 sq ft Penthouse renovation located in Lower Lonsdale, North Vancouver. She designed our booth seating request in our 12' island and totally transformed the Master bedroom and Ensuite plus so much more all while staying within our budget agreed upon. Reisa and her team are design wizards. They conjured a visual theme and atmosphere for our office renovation that was clean, modern and professional. The design also incorporated some elements from our website and business cards. We have received many compliments from our clients and others who have since visited our new office. The design concept was definitely beyond beige. And equally important, from the ownership perspective, Reisa sourced a highly capable general contractor, her team communicated regularly with us, and she kept the project on time and on budget. It was a first class experience from start to finish.

Reisa and her team underwent an extensive home renovation with us and the result was more than my husband and I could have ever imagined. Really, our home is better than the home we dreamt of! We worked closely with the team for one and a half years and every encounter we had with them (face to face, email, text) was professional and friendly. From the beginning Reisa was very open about us being able to contact her or the team no matter how small the matter. When we did speak, I always felt like my opinion was heard and respected. Beyond Beige was there for us not only in the structural design of our home but also the interior design process (paint colours, light fixtures, furniture). Pretty much everything in our house has the Beyond Beige touch! This was the first time my husband and I have taken on a project like this and we are so grateful to have had Reisa and the team every step of the way. I’m looking forward to the next time we get to work together.

We had Lindsay come in to update our dated kitchen and bathrooms. Our kitchen and bathrooms are now refreshed and look beautiful! Lindsay was so approachable and easy to work with. We had some light fixtures that arrived damaged. Lindsay went above and beyond to make sure we weren't charged for deficient goods. We can't say enough good things about Lindsay and her dedication! We highly recommend her!

I have worked with Reisa and crew for the past two years now. Their designs, concepts, and management skills on projects are amazing and she is a pleasure to work with. Her keen eye to even the smallest details are truly amazing and I do not hesitate to recommend Beyond Beige when asked who would I use as my "go to" design company. They are always respectable of budgets and tailor their designs to work within them. We were introduced to Jacqueline @ Beyond the beige by a friend as she helped them with a huge renovation on their home at the time. We were immediately impressed with her ability to identify our needs, her professionalism, amazing construction knowledge and most of all, her taste in design. Her and her team were able to put together an exquisite renovation plan for our kitchen, hallway and living room renovation.

I was needing to change my 20 year old dining chairs but needed the expertise of Beyond Beige designers to work with me to find the perfect chairs! The chairs have transformed my dining room from outdated to modern! (our guests thought that we had a new table it looked so fresh). At the same time we also found the "perfect" wallpaper to enhance a feature wall. I look forward to transforming my living room next & I know with the professional guidance of Beyond Beige it will look amazing!

I wanted to take a moment to thank Lindsay and the team at Beyond Beige. We had redecorated our formal and casual living rooms and needed much help with all design elements. Lindsay helped us find a focus and worked closely within our budget and in keeping the style and date of our home. Lindsay's elegant ideas and suggestions have created beautiful, functional and award winning results (see their website under Piccadilly location). Lindsay and I are about to start our bathroom this week and will be thinking of our basement as the next project. Can’t wait till the next project! Brenda

Extremely dissatisfied. Beyond Beige grossly overcharged us for a very small project which they ultimately made errors and did not deliver on an agreed to product. There were very unclear about how the billing will work, despite selling and assuring my wife it will be reasonable. Which in the end it was anything but. Friends of mind in the industry said we were being ripped off. We disputed the remaining amount of the bill and instead of doing what was right considering the poor service and already extraordinary amount charged, they threatened us with collections and added an EXTRA charge to our bill in the end!!! Be very, very cautious about using this company, that is if you don't have money to just burn.

It is always our goal to make each and every client happy. We almost always do, as seen by our reviews. However, a client can come along that is determined to remain disgruntled by refusing to communicate, other than on a public forum.

Ironically in your case, we attempted to dissuade you on many occasions from undertaking such a labour intensive design with higher costs involved, in such a small space. Only at your insistence did we continue with the more labour intensive design option. Nearing completion, you expressed that you "absolutely loved the new space."
The fees and costs were laid out, you were aware of them, and agreed to them, you just didn't want to pay for them.

Other trades that did work for you also came forward to say they did not get paid as expected.

Over the past 6 months we have continuously reached out to you in an effort to resolve this matter fairly and even offered a settlement to part peacefully – with no response from you. Only since taking action did we garner a response in this format.

We are passionate about design and making our clients happy, but it's fair to expect that in exchange, we will get paid.

We had Lindsay work on a project with us and she was so warm, approachable and full of great ideas. I was really pleased with the finished product and would definitely use her again if we have another design project in our budget.

These guys are simply the best. I have worked with Reisa, Lindsay, Jolene and the team a few times now over the last 4-5 years. We have completely redone our house and the finished product is absolutely amazing. I love the process that Beyond Beige goes through... we have done 2 major projects with this team and Reisa and her team come up with ideas that are simply brilliant. They are also very good at dealing with me. I often have some of my own ideas and even though 1 or 2 of them might be okay - I often have 1 or 2 that are no-no's....and Beyond Beige always makes me feel like I'm involved and not a pain(even though I know that I can be). Our last home was sold over 3 years ago and to this day we are the highest sale on that street - I credit Beyond Beige with making the changes to that home that got us that price.

Reisa and her team are fabulous! Our house was transformed from an outdated jumble of colours to a warm and inviting home with a bold and contemporary feel. We were presented with options we would never have thought of ourselves through an easy process.

I have used Beyond Beige twice for significant renovations in our house. Both times, Reisa exceeded our expectations. She was able to modernize our space and do little little bits in each room or hallway so that the house flows beautifully. She was respectful of our timeframe and budget. She was also able to incorporate our older furniture by recovering with unique fabrics. She understood our style, and transformed our space into something personal that we absolutely LOVE. We will definitely use Beyond Beige for any future houses/renovations.

Beyond Beige is brilliant. They're team is generous, creative, imaginative, budget-conscious when they need to be, and completely understand. They are ardent listeners who can help dream up perfection. When they helped us rejig our new office space, the team really went the extra mile. They did site visits for potential spaces, created multiple layout options within our budget, scoured resources for the perfect fits, got creative with some DIY projects, and gave us a space that was purely, totally, utterly US. I would HIGHLY recommend them. Their talent is unique and their charm is unmatchable. They wowed us and will no doubt wow you too. Thank you Reisa and team!

We had a tired looking condo building, in need of an uplift, we hired Beyond Beige to design a our new interior upgrade. After consultation and presentation, we went ahead with their design, to completion. We couldn't be happier, their ideas and design has breathed new life into our hallways and lobby, and turned our basement into an inviting area. Its bright, cheerful, and the added finishing touches really give us the new look we were hoping for.

We have used Beyond Beige for many projects over the past 10 years. Recently we were putting our home in West Vancouver on the market and did not hesitate to contact Reisa and her team to come in and create a fresh new designer look for the updating of finishings and staging of our house to potential buyers in a very upscale market. The level of knowledge, creativity, service, and professionalism especially how they took care of all the details while we were away for a few days was stress-free for us. The degree they managed to transform our home to, was quite frankly "Amazing" and was the major contributing factor to us having alot of interest in our home and successfully selling it within a month of being listed.

We're extremely happy with the experience of having our bathrooms renovated by the group at Beyond Beige Interior Design. Reisa Pollard and her team were very creative and professional in both the design and installation phases. She was a great listener as she was able to naturally incorporate our wishes and needs with her 'design sense' resulting into something that we all love! Reisa and her team recommended colors, materials and a new layout in both bathrooms that flowed as well as enhanced the mid-century modern style of our home. They were also very skilled at coordinating the many workers involved in demolishing an old bathroom to the studs and rebuilding it in a step-by-step approach. During the entire 6 months of construction the builders and trades were appreciated for their professionalism, hard work and positive attitude! We love the beauty and spa-like amenities of our new bathrooms and would highly recommend Reisa and her team for any future renovation project!

We hired Beyond Beige Interior Design for both our home (as featured on Houzz) and for our Laser Clinic (Body Bar Laser Clinic). There is not a day that goes by that we are not asked what designer we used. We are asked to use our facility for private functions often and the staff loves the over all flow and energy of the clinic. We are in the process of using BBID on our new project and excited to see the outcome. A lot of value for your $ and the quality of work is unmatched.

beyond beige really understood who we are, and "got" our vision. we bought a condo that is 2088 square feet, and we gutted it down to the studs. it was stressful, but they made it happen, and every day i am so thankful that this is my home.
