Ashley Rohe; Custom Homes and Design

When we moved to Nashville two years ago and bought a house, I contacted Sarah Ashley Rohe to help me with design choices, paint, window coverings, lighting, etc. She encouraged me to use pieces I already had with budget friendly new options. I was and am delighted with our lovely home. She also helped us remodel our master bath, powder room, and two guest baths. All the trades people she suggested were professional and did excellent work. I can not recommend her highly enough.

Sarah Ashley has beautiful, classic style. She brought what I wanted (without my really knowing what it was!) to life and I appreciate that she “got me”! She is also super kind and sweet.

If any subcontractor did NOT meet her expectations, she clearly and firmly explained the problem and stayed on it until it was perfect. When my own more "old fashioned" requests were out of sync with her more modern and sophisticated recommendations, she respected my wishes and even helped track down custom tiles that had to be hand made to match existing ones that were 20 years old. I am thrilled with the result and would recommend her without reservation.

Sarah Ashley of Ashley Rohe Designs worked with us to create the perfect living space in our "deluxe apartment in the sky"! She really addressed our needs as recent Nashville transplants, helping us repurpose cherished furnishings and incorporating custom (and stock) items into an overall soothing palette that immediately felt like home. From a custom crafted,built -in headboard and side tables to an incredible feature wall with abundant storage options, Sarah Ashley designed, contracted, and delivered on time and on budget the pieces she imagined for us. It continues to be a pleasure working with her on everything from custom console and coffee tables to softening our space with (literally) the most beautiful rug ever. Sarah Ashley Rohe is the 3rd designer that I've worked with, and this has by far been the most satisfying relationship. She is extremely knoweldgeable and is able to extract what I am looking for even when I am unable to articulate it in design terms. My husband isn't the easiest person to work with, but she is able to meet his needs for the parts of the project that he felt strongly about. We moved into a renovated craftsman style home having lived in a more colonial style home previously. She developed a comprehensive plan for the home that had natural break points--I'd say that we have executed 50% of what she pulled together, and I plan to continue once the holidays are over. I can't speak to deadlines because the project has been free flowing due to my difficult work and travel schedule.

I have had the pleasure of working with Sarah Ashley on a custom residence in Nashville, TN. She immediately developed a rapport with the clients and was able to help them achieve a home that fits perfectly with their personality and lifestyle.
