Archipelago Home is a dream fulfilled by founder and award-winning designer Tiare Noelani Pinto who established TCB Island Interiors, Slipcovers etc., Designs By Tiare, as well as co-owned Studio Becker-Honolulu and Archipelago Hawaii. In 2007, Tiare merged her three companies with Studio Becker to form Archipelago Hawaii. Since its start, Archipelago Hawaii had been designing whole homes, interiors, kitchens and baths in collaboration with architects, structural engineers, general contractors, and all other specialists. Archipelago Home is a result of over 35 years of experience creating beautiful bespoke homes in Hawai’i. With years of knowledge we know how to create luxury homes with the best resources at our fingertips. Tiare brings her years of experience in the design industry; furniture sales and design, upholstery/slip cover manufacturing, interior design, as well as kitchen and bath design. This vast knowledge of the industry and all of the various elements that go into designing a home bring her clients the most comprehensive service available in Hawaii. Archipelago Home has been designing interiors, kitchens and baths in collaboration with architects for years. This experience has brought to light the disconnect that so often happens when several experts are brought in on a project at different phases. This compelled Tiare to create a design Team; bringing together the designer, structural engineer, general contractor and any other specialists necessary for each project. Working as a Team from the inception of the project with Archipelago Home leading the way has proven to create a more cohesive process and avoid costly changes and oversights. We were so glad to have Archipelago Home for our home renovation! Tiare and Ola are amazing and were there from the beginning of design all the way until the finishing touches were applied. Tiare helped us find an amazing contractor and she was always quick to help with any issues or problems that arose during construction. The project included a complete kitchen remodel and expansion, a second floor addition off an existing bedroom to create a new master suite, and construction of a new lanai with outdoor kitchen (underneath the 2nd floor addition). We really appreciated how our voice was heard and valued throughout the process. It really was a collaborative process and the final product reflects our vision as well as things we would have never considered without the expertise of Tiare and Ola. We will not hesitate to work with Archipelago Home for future projects and would highly recommend them for your home project needs.

She intuitively understood my own taste and feelings about the design that I wanted to achieve, the modern but comfortable "look" that I would feel comfortable with. Visitors to my home would often rave about what a beautiful kitchen she designed, what elegant finishes in the bathrooms and throughout, and the overall concept of the furniture and space in the living areas.

Tiara worked with us on furnishings for our home in Hawaii Loa ridge for about 4 months. She helped position existing furniture, accessories and art work. She also worked with us to select new furnishings for our larger space. She was professional, attentive and fluid to work with. I appreciated her ability to consider all options during the process and for incorporating our existing accessories and art work. We enjoyed working with Tiare and recommend her as an interior designer.

Archipelago Hawaii is incredible! We are absentee owners and were only able to visit the project every six weeks or so. Tiare handled the entire project from start to finish: the design, furnishings, accessories... everything! She made the project easy and stress-free. And now we have a beautiful vacation home to relax in! She made our dreams come true and we are beyond appreciative.

We LOVE working with Archipelago Home! Tiare and Ola are wonderful to work with. Every home has something different that makes it special and the Archipelago Home Team really know how to capture the best parts of a home. From the moment we take on a new project they are available to navigate the initial design. From conception they execute the project with great attention to details, new vs vintage vs reupholstering furnishings, artwork and accessories carefully selected, as well as their own personal design craftsmanship when needed. (You know those tough to find on island or on hand specialty items). They make design seem easy...and it absolutely is not. Wonderful to have a team like Archipelago Home to help you navigate your home design projects! Highly Recommend you meet with them!

We highly recommend Archipelago Hawaii. Archipelago has been an indispensable go-to resource for us in space planning our 4,000 sf house, designing fabulous custom furniture and procuring nearly everything else. From window and floor coverings to outdoor furnishings to wall-sized custom entertainment centers, and bedding accessories, Tiare and her team have done it all. They've been in the business a long time and this is clear given the spot-on recommendations, contacts and knowledge that come from long experience.

My goal in buying an older 2BD/2BA on the Gold Coast was to completely redo all windows, furnishing, fixtures, walls, lighting and art work. Living in CA and having this as a second home, it looked overwhelming, until I met Tiare. Tiare has a stellar reputation. She took the ball and, with her team, got my project over the goal line timely and in style. Her communication was immediate and progress reports were detailed. I would recommend Tiare and her company to anyone doing a project in the Hawaiian Islands.

Tiare was the perfect designer for our Kailua refresh! She is easy to work with, resourceful and creative. I appreciated her allowing me to be a partner in the process as I had my own ideas. She was very helpful in finding contractors who got the jobs needed completed timely and professionally. They are very open to working with what you have and incorporating your existing pieces into their plan. They were always receptive to our comments and had excellent follow through. Their work speaks for itself. Our home is located in beautiful Kailua, beachside and we knew that Tiare would be the perfect choice for our design. She understands Kailua living, the look and feel of what a "Kailua home" should look like. We wanted to keep the vintage feel of the home, but with a modern twist. Tiare's professionalism, attentiveness, creativity and willingness to go the extra mile is all that we could have expected and more. She has a great support team, lead by Roseanne, to help solidify the tasks and needs of the design and follow through of completion of said work. Our friends and family asks about our design and we do not hesitate to say that Tiare of Archipelago Hawaii came through for us.
