I was beyond 100% satisfied with the work done by AP Construction & Remodeling, Inc. of my Mar Vista home I worked with an excellent project manager. Henrique was professional and personable from my first meeting with him. He answered my initial questions and concerns, e.g. worker safety. He gave me creative solutions for the remodeling of my kitchen and bathroom. He remained reliable, responsive, and personable throughout the project. The crew members led my Armando were excellent and demonstrated their skills in carpentry, tile work, painting, and finishing. The trades persons hired also were very skilled, creating a beautiful new home with many custom finishes, e.g. soffit lighting and like new refinished hardware floors. In addition, Eduardo, a newly hired team member, was also personable and professional. E-mails from Heather in the front office were easy to read and well written. He has a calm, professional, friendly, and reassuring demeanor. I had a bad experience with a previous contractor, so it was important to me that I have a good rapport with whomever I hired. Even though our project was on the smaller side, I was never made to feel that it was less valued than larger or high-end projects. AP Remodeling cares about each and every one of their projects. He knows what to look out for and anticipates potential issues and how to address them. I noticed there were some things he would find that weren’t spelled out in the job parameters, but he took the initiative to fix what needed to be fixed to make the job complete. I really appreciated that he took care of those things. Armando is a really good leader—he takes care of his guys and has their respect and admiration, which just made the whole experience so much more positive for me. All the guys (Elbin, José) were so hardworking and had such a positive attitude. Happy hands make light work! I appreciated the family-like, more personal, boutique feel of the company. The team at AP Remodeling did a FANTASTIC job with our kitchen / laundry / powder room remodel.
