Anthology Interiors made the pain of a slab leak and related remodel feel like a breeze. Their prompt service, attention to detail and creative, beautiful ideas, combined with the ease of ordering, paying invoices and installation allowed me to relax and truly enjoy the process. Both my sons love their new rooms! I highly recommend Anna-Marie and her team.

Anna-Marie is more than a designer and decorator, she is a client-whisperer who did an outstanding job of interpreting what we wanted, guiding our decisions without feeling overwhelmed and gently bringing us out of our comfort zone. In other words, while we thought we knew what we wanted before we consulted with Anna-Marie, we could not have truly understood and appreciated what we wanted, and what was available, without Anna-Marie transforming . Working with Anna-Marie was an absolute joy, and we are so thrilled with the results. Initially we thought we wanted something more contemporary, and Anna-Marie guided us to what she calls California casual, that is at once very detailed and sophisticated, while also being soothing, inviting, and kid & pet friendly. Our project involved a complete renovation and re-design of a 1961 ranch-style home, 3 bed, 2 bath, approx. 2200 sq. ft. Every piece of furniture, every accessory, and every piece of art was new, and selected with Anna-Marie's expertise. Anna-Marie also excels at being responsive and communicative, and transparent about the budget. The entire installation was completed in one day - no easy feat. Our family and our guests love living in the space and being entertained, and often marvel at Anna-Marie's work.

Right from the beginning we felt comfortable with Anna-Marie. We wanted to work with her because her aesthetic and design sensibility seemed to fit with ours, and we were right. Our project was a full outfitting of our recently renovated home with furniture and decor. When we met Anna-Marie we had an old couch and a bed, so we needed pretty much everything. We also wanted design that would not only look amazing, but be able to stand up to the demands of our young family. Anna-Marie has a process that guides her clients through the haze of choices and hones in on individual style. One of my favorite moments was our meeting when we got to see two completely different designs for our home, and then we selected the pieces and vibe that we liked. Making choices was easy because Anna-Marie and her team made it easy. Anna-Marie is incredibly responsive and detailed, and any time I had a question, whether it was about fabric choices or billing, she was right there to support me with an answer. We have more work to do with Anthology Interiors on our home, and although the work feels like it will never end on our home, it is a pleasure to have a partner and supportive professional like Anna-Marie to guide and assist us through the process. Our home is so beautiful, in large part because of Anna-Marie and Anthology Interiors.

We met Anna-Marie through a mutual friend and have to say that we are completely thrilled with her advice and then execution of design for our new business. Not only did she listen attentively to the brief, but she also came up with a number of variations for us. Then she oversaw the one we chose, fitted it out at every step and put up with us changing things at the last moment. All this while she was moving home too! Without doubt her expertise and advice, plus contacts, has been invaluable.”

Anna-Marie had been the designer of the house we purchased, so it was an automatic choice for us to hire her to coordinate the furniture, window covering etc.... We of course liked everything about her design, but what stood out more was that she was very professional and a great communicator. She was always forthcoming about the cost and estimate delivery. When there was trouble, she took it very seriously and found solutions for us.

Anna-Marie is extremely talented. She has a definite eye for timeless design but trendy and hip at the same time. Her style varies from modern to contemporary but the best part is she is very adept at reading the client and honing in on their taste and comfort zone. Simply said, she doesn't design the same way for every client. She has the ability to change up her design style to meet the needs of the customer. She's sweet and kind and not easily flustered so changes in construction or last minute hiccups do not phase her. Anna- Marie is also very time conscience and doesn't over charge in terms of time or money yet gets the job done. She's also very responsive. Highly recommend Anna-Marie!!

My husband and I had the most wonderful experience working with Anna-Marie Claassen of Anthology Interiors! We were a tough case: we knew what we didn't like about our house but had no vision of what we truly wanted. Anna-Marie was there for us every step of the way. She was able to help us put our project in perspective and had creative and innovative ideas for what options we could pursue. She helped us envision an entirely new floorplan that was perfect for us, and she was the perfect liaison between the contractor, architect, and us. She helped us define our taste and style and offered us exceptional and unique ideas for our home. From appliances to finish work, furniture to accessories, no detail was overlooked and the results are stunning. Our remodel far exceeded what he hoped for, and Anna-Marie did an exceptional job of overseeing and managing all aspects of the process. Every step ran smoothly and we were given ample time to consider all our options throughout. She was a joy to work with and a true visionary in transforming our home. Our house is now a dream come true, everything on our wish list was covered and then some. I was lucky to work with Anna-Marie on remodel and room addition in Newport Beach this year. Not only is she easy to work with, her design sense and vision are of the best I have seen. She makes decisions quickly and confidently and has a great eye for the details. I welcome the chance to work on any job she is involved with.

I can't say enough positive things about Anna-Marie and Anthology Interiors. She has such great taste and is so creative, but it's her personality and style that makes her so wonderful to work with. I had never worked with a designer before, so I didn't really know what to do. She's very calm and patient - you can ask her anything, and she gives feedback in a way that makes you feel comfortable. She was instrumental in the selection of my kitchen backsplash and counter tops, as well as my master bath tile. She guided me by giving me choices and suggestions, and taking all my wants and needs into consideration. She helped me with paint, furniture, and then did such an amazing job styling with accessories and art that I felt like I was on a home show! Pictures coming soon! We hired Anna-Marie to help with complete 4100 sq ft remodel of a Mid Century Modern home. It was important for us to keep the great architecture in tact with more modern updates. She handled everything from floor plans, picking out finishes for all bathroom, kitchen, rooms. She also brings her own set of professionals to get the work done. It was such a relief having someone there to provide us with easy options that could work directly with the contractor to make sure we got our dream house completed. Can't recommend her enough. Working with Anna-marie as both a contractor and a client has been a great experience. From a contractor's perspective she was easy to work with. She did not slow down the job in any way. Whenever I needed material picked out or a question answered Anna-marie was always very prompt. Also, I hired Anna-marie to do some design on my home. I had a great experience as well. Anna-marie came up with some great designs for my home. I would recommend Anna-marie very highly.

We hired Anna Marie of Anthology Interiors, to work on three spaces in our home. Our main focus was our bedroom, the kids playroom, and the living room. We purchased our home and did a full remodel so it made it even more challenging for Anna Marie, as she began the process of helping us before even seeing the finished rooms. Anna Marie was very easy to work with and honestly was such a life saver. She was able to pick out styles that I liked after just meeting once or twice. We loved all that she helped us with in those three rooms that we still are currently having her tackle other projects throughout the house. I highly recommend Anna Marie!
