This beautiful kitchen has countertops fabricated in Cambria Swanbridge Quartz. The cabinets were designed and installed by Jamestown Designer Kitchens. Beautiful large eat in kitchen with double islands, built-in panel ready appliances, large workstation sink, and a hidden pantry. Undercabinet angled tamper resistant powerstrips with USB ports.

The most dramatic part of this remodel is taking out the non load bearing wall to the family room. We kept columns on either side of the island to run electrical for the island since this house is on a slab. We added extra cabinets for a butler pantry and wine fridge storage.

The main sink is separated by the island. The prep sink does all the duty over by the rangetop. A bookshelf on the island allows the homeowner to keep recipes nearby.

This view shows both islands in this kitchen. The first used for prep and the second is suited for entertaining or informal meals. The lighting and the backsplash are reflective of this client's sense of whimsy.

We are so excited to share with you this beautiful kitchen remodel in Lakeville, MN. Our clients came to us wanting to take out the wall between the kitchen and the dining room. By taking out the wall, we were able to create a new larger kitchen! We kept the sink in the same location, and then moved the stove to the same wall as the sink. The fridge was moved to the far wall, we added an oven/micro combinations and a large pantry. We even had some extra room to create a desk space. The coolest thing about this kitchen is the DOUBLE island! The island closest to the sink functions as a working island and the other is for entertaining with seating for guests. What really shines here is the combination of color that creates such a beautiful subtle elegance. The warm gray color of the cabinets were paired with the brown stained cabinets on the island. We then selected darker honed granite countertops on the perimeter cabinets and a light gray quartz countertop for the islands. The slightly marbled backsplash helps to tie everything in and give such a richness to the whole kitchen. I love adding little pops throughout the kitchen, so matte black hardware and the matte black sink light are perfect! We are so happy with the final result of this kitchen! This beautiful French Provincial home is set on 10 acres, nestled perfectly in the oak trees. The original home was built in 1974 and had two large additions added; a great room in 1990 and a main floor master suite in 2001. This was my dream project: a full gut renovation of the entire 4,300 square foot home! I contracted the project myself, and we finished the interior remodel in just six months. The exterior received complete attention as well. The 1970s mottled brown brick went white to completely transform the look from dated to classic French. Inside, walls were removed and doorways widened to create an open floor plan that functions so well for everyday living as well as entertaining. The white walls and white trim make everything new, fresh and bright. It is so rewarding to see something old transformed into something new, more beautiful and more functional.
