In 2022 Kitchen Visions took my kitchen project from hopeful wishes to beautiful reality. From conception to completion, Jodi and her team took care of us every step of the way. She managed all the details — even the ones I didn’t even know to think about— and helped source local materials and vendors based on my vision. Could not recommend Jodi and KV more highly!

If you are searching for the ideal designer- Jodi Swartz is it! She has all the requisite attributes—years of experience and expertise, endless creativity, and an amazing vision. She is kind and does not push her ideas on you. She puts all the pieces together- working methodically with her wonderful contacts, Jodi and her team created some magnificent spaces in our house. Jodi is a delight to work with. Promptly available by text or in person, no question too basic. We are thrilled with the results! Our project started as a total renovation of the kitchen and a few bathrooms and evolved to 4 bathrooms, 2 mudrooms and a basement transformation to a home gym. 5 STARS!

If you are looking for professional, timely, and considerate help, this is your vendor. Jodi will somehow keep your design sense in mind while inspiring you to look beyond your own field of vision. I loved the choices she helped me make, including adding more light to a slightly too-dark kitchen.

KitchenVisions was a huge help in finding designs to renovate our outdated kitchen and baths. Jodi listened to our likes and dislikes and we ended up with great designs that really suited our tastes and were also very functional. We had been struggling especially to find a design that would work for our kitchen. We had met with other kitchen designers and did not find a layout that excited us. Jodi was patient working with us to explore different ideas, and she presented a plan that really wowed us. She also came up with ideas to renovate our outdated bathrooms. Once the designs were selected we enjoyed working with Jodi to pick out color schemes and materials. KitchenVisions put together detailed binders with information that the contractors found very helpful during the renovation. Jodi also worked well with our contractor if any questions arose and she checked in on the progress. This was our first major renovation and we’re very happy that we worked with Jodi and the KitchenVisions team to bring it to life.

Jodi figured it ALL out! She was a phenomenal partner in updating our 200 year old colonial, including a gut renovation of our kitchen, creating a walk-in pantry and an open concept between our kitchen and family room. Although I've done a kitchen remodel in our prior home in Cambridge, can be pretty handy and have my own stylistic vision, there were a million and one things to think about, decide and anticipate, which I could never have done without Jodi and KitchenVisions. In particular her years of experience helped avoid pitfalls and her network connected me to great vendors, particularly our general contractor Asher (Sensitive Information Hidden). And whenever an issue arose (delivery delays, chipped fixtures etc..), Jodi was more than willing to make calls and help solve things that I couldn't easily do myself. I would recommend her to anyone and I'm grateful to have transformed the heart of our home into something we'll enjoy and share for many years.

Jodi and the KitchenVisions team were amazing to work with and we are absolutely thrilled with our new kitchen, powder room and master bath! During the design process of the kitchen, I had a lot of wishes/ideas/pictures to transform my early 2000s dark cherry oddly spaced kitchen into my dream kitchen where my family and I would all love to hang out while cooking and enjoying time together. Jodi took all those ideas and made a lovely design that exceeds our expectations. In remodeling the master bath, we were more concerned with budget and Jodi was very helpful presenting alternatives to stay within budget and honest re pros and cons when we had to make tough decisions. During the selection process, Jodi both connected me to top suppliers and helped me make choices that I absolutely love and may not have had the courage/knowledge to choose without her - she was invaluable in seeing how choices would fit in within our vision of the project. Finally, during the construction, Jodi worked well with our general contractor and the suppliers to ensure adherence to design and to help address any unforeseen issues that arose - her knowledge about the process and what we should expect at each step of the process were so appreciated.

We worked with Jodi Swartz and her team on a renovation of our kitchen, guest bathroom, and primary bathroom. We have a classic center entrance New England colonial built around 1930 and we didn’t want to take down any walls or make other major structural alterations. Jodi was able to design rooms that functioned much more efficiently, provided additional storage, and have a timeless design that fits with the rest of the house. She was also able to recommend a terrific contractor, who finished our project on time and on budget and for whom nothing was too much trouble. Jodi also introduced us to very helpful suppliers (for tile, shower glass, plumbing supplies, kitchen appliances, painting, etc.) who were attentive, responsive, and helpful. We couldn’t have asked for a better team and would highly recommend KitchenVisions for similar projects.

This is our 2nd kitchen and bath project we've worked with Jodi on except this most recent one was a significantly larger endeavor including our entire house (not a single room and basement was left untouched). The general contractor Jodi introduced us to was top notch and most importantly does quality work, was reliable, and kept on schedule. Jodi collaborated with us to plan the entire project and proposed space solutions we had not considered. The number of decisions on designs, products, colors etc. was quite overwhelming, and Jodi helped us navigate through all of it so that everything looks amazing. Jodi was super responsive whenever we had questions and quickly overcame challenges we came across. Working with Jodi and her staff was a pleasure, and we would not hesitate to engage her services again!

We were super excited to work with Jodi on our home remodel and are so pleased with the outcome. Jodi’s space planning skills, design aesthetic, ability to listen to what we were looking for and her accessibility is what we believe sets her apart from other designers we considered. Our kitchen and family room incorporate more space than we could have ever imagined. We thought we were going to need an addition, but Jodi showed us how we could maximize space within our footprint. Even though we needed to revisit our selections a couple times because I just could not make up my mind, Jodi made us comfortable and helped us work through the pros and cons and we could not be more pleased. We were grateful for the connection Jodi made to our contractor; it was a great fit and we appreciated how well they communicated and worked together. As a planner, I was impressed with the project binder she brought to the jobsite. Our contractor told us no one does a project binder like Jodi and they are a huge help to make projects run smoothly. We have additional projects we would like to do and look forward to working with Jodi again

Jodi and her team were so professional and talented. We could not be more pleased with the results! She helped us completely remodel our kitchen and living area, as well as create a new powder room. Attention to detail was just wonderful. Our experience was so great and she really helped pick up the loose ends our contractor was not minding.

We worked with Jodi & some of her highly qualified staff for a substantial addition & remodeling of our home. The work covered many areas including a new Primary Bedroom Suite with a new Full Bathroom, a Fitness Room, Sitting Room, Mudroom, & Farmer's Porch. Although we were personally acquainted with Jodi previously, we found her professionally as the result of a beautiful kitchen renovation she'd done for good friends of ours. Jodi has impeccable taste and her access to and relationships with the top suppliers and contractors in our area were a major boon throughout our project. We were also incredibly impressed with the amount of detail and thought that went into the design of our kitchen. KitchenVisions uses topnotch design software, and the importance of that was really made apparent as the project proceeded and all the way through to its conclusion. In the end, it was remarkable how closely the actual kitchen met the design and specs, and having that level of detail from the get-go was a huge help not only to our suppliers, contractors and subcontractors, but to us. Having said that, more than anything, Jodi is about quality and value. If you work with KitchenVisions, you should maybe expect to spend more than you might have anticipated, but you should also rest assured that the value you receive from working Jodi and her people makes it well worth it. Having never taken on a project such as this one, it's amazing that anyone could survive it without having someone like Jodi to guide decisions, push contractors, and generally ensure that all of the t's are crossed and i's dotted. Even with some life challenges that were faced by us as well as Jodi over the course of our project, she was never less than professional, responsive, and supportive. And while our project ended up costing more than I'd hoped when we first started, there were sound reasons for that that had nothing at all to do with Jodi or KitchenVisions, including unforeseen construction costs, inflation, supply chain challenges, and additional sub-projects such as painting and tiling additional rooms and hallways that we chose to take on. Still, at every juncture, Jodi got us the best pricing possible on fixtures, cabinets, hardware, appliances, tile, and many other items, and even generously gave us certain items (drawer inserts as one example) when she was able to do so. In the end, our kitchen turned out more beautiful than we could have hoped. We'd highly recommend KitchenVisions to anyone looking to take on a kitchen renovation and have it done right.

We just finished a kitchen renovation that we have been wanting to do for the better part of a decade. Jodi was wonderful to work with. Jodi and her team at KitchenVisions do outstanding work! Expert at balancing functionality with aesthetically pleasing design, they are extremely creative at finding solutions for “problem” spaces, at thinking “outside the box,” and at listening closely to what the customer is asking for. Kitchen Visions Team Jodi Swartz and Natasha Young took a very outdated green and yellow kitchen with many doorways and an awkward basement stair location and totally reimagined the space. The results were truly spectacular as they brought our kitchen and bath dream renovation to life. We could not have been happier with their fantastic, detailed attention to design, project management, and beautiful suggestions of materials. We now have a highly functioning kitchen and bath, complete with a huge island and open vaulted ceiling and new basement stair location. We had the pleasure of working with Jodi and her team on a renovation and remodel of the 2nd floor of our 100-year-old home in Newton. We moved bathrooms, created new spaces, and reworked the flow within our existing square footage to better meet our family's needs. What I most appreciated about working with Jodi was her understanding of space and flow. She was able to help us visualize some options for our home and come to a decision on the best plan. She was also good at the "details" such as light switch placement, door swing directions....all the little things you don't think about unless it's done wrong! Jodi everyone at KitchenVisions made the process smooth and relatively stress-free. When problems arose (mostly due to covid-related supply chain issues) we worked together to find a solution or an alternative. We couldn't be happier with the outcome and have been enjoying our new spaces immensely.

KitchenVisions brought our vision to reality and then some. The very talented and professional team were easy and fun to work with on our downstairs remodel. They have amazing design skills giving us many options to transform our space from an old dated home to a elegant, comfortable space for our family. From concept to finalization they were professional, creative, responsive and overall a great team to work with. They were detail-oriented and I loved how closely they partnered with our contractor. Renovating my kitchen was the last thing I needed to do in my 5 year long full home renovation. This was the most important part of the home and I saved it for last. After all my prior projects I knew I would be out of my depth to undertake it without help. So thankful I met Jodi! Let's just say that Jodi is a POWERHOUSE in all aspects of her world. She is excellent at taking your vision and making it into a workable design. She honored all of the things I cared a lot about and then very adeptly filled in the blanks and made good choices for me in the areas where my opinion about what to choose was not definitive. Her team (Natasha!) , and every professional she referred me to, was AMAZING. The ONLY reason that this project was able to be completed on budget and on time in 2021 (can anyone say pandemic, supply chain problems and inflation?!) was because we could leverage her entire professional network. Someone can only cultivate that many strong relationships if they are always on point. In addition to all of that I actually had FUN despite how hard living through a renovation can be. Everyone was a pleasure to work with. I can't imagine doing any future renovation project without Jodi and her team.

Like most families embarking on a kitchen renovation, we had plenty of ideas but no cohesive vision. We knew we wanted to fundamentally change the flow and layout of the kitchen, but the extent of our experience was Googling "kitchen design golden triangle" and pinning favorites on Pinterest and Houzz. After being introduced to Jodi she listened carefully to our jumble of thoughts and ideas in an initial consultation, and then immediately gave us the first of what would be countless bits of guidance, feedback, and suggestions on how we could move forward with realizing our dream. There are three areas where Jodi truly excelled at throughout our project. First in the early design phase, in examining our virtual shoebox of ideas to understand our personal taste, style, needs, and stretch goals, and finding ways to turn that into a cohesive design. Coming home, the first thing we see is our kitchen, and all those little design elements she incorporated make it ours, make it special, and make it home. Second, throughout the design and build process, Jodi is at heart a problem solver. Whether it was mediating competing concepts between the spouses, or helping prioritize where to splurge on materials, Jodi was actively managing, overseeing, and problem solving every step of the way. Perhaps she was a GC or an Engineer in a prior life, she would even sketch design tweaks and embellishments with our Builder on-site to ensure the reality exceeded the specification. Third, and just as important as the great relationship that we had with Jodi, is the great relationships that Jodi has established with her vendors, contractors, and industry connections over many years. When crucial items looked like they might be backordered, or needed parts didn't arrive or arrived imperfect, Jodi was proactive to the point where often we didn't even know all the strings she was pulling until after the problem was solved. It's rare to find someone whose standards for quality and craftsmanship in your kitchen are even higher perhaps than your own. Thank you again Jodi for everything you did to help make our home -- not just an oasis and a delight to sip coffee in every morning, but also a flowing, functional, and fun space to live in.

Jodi, Cheryl, and team did an unbelievable job on our kitchen! They really listened to what we were looking for and redesigned the space in a way that makes it so much more functional, beautiful, and efficient. Since the completion of our project, I don’t even mind emptying the dishwasher because it means I get to open all the cabinets and admire everything. Jodi has a great eye and gently pushed me on choices for the design and finishes to make the space feel unique and warm (as someone who has no eye for design, I needed this!). They also introduced us to a lovely contractor. Between both of their work, the project was finished ahead of schedule! During the Covid supply chain difficulties! I can’t recommend kitchen visions enough. We talked to several designers before going with them, but once we met Jodi, we knew within minutes that she was the right person.

Outstanding. A pleasure to work with. I am incredibly grateful that Jodi was willing to take on my renovation in the midst of her busy schedule, during the pandemic when everyone was trying to get design help at the same time, and with everyone dealing with supply issues, bottlenecks, etc. The results were far beyond what I imagined was possible for my project. A friend who is well versed in living spaces of the well-heeled in Boston and who had seen the space before the renovation said he was “speechless” when he walked into the newly renovated condominium. KitchenVisions was recommended to me by a friend who had worked with Jodi Swartz. He said that Jodi was talented not just with design, but also with re-envisioning space. I was starting in on the renovation of a condo that was in “original” condition and initially attempted to work with a kitchen store in the area for a portion of the project before realizing that I was not getting the guidance or support I needed to move ahead. Jodi walked into the home and immediately saw the possibility of the space. She talked me through how I might open up the various concentrated areas. I took her recommendations and as a result, ended up with a home that now not only looks incredibly beautiful, but has a wonderful sense of flow and spaciousness that will make living and entertaining there much more enjoyable. A lot of designers state that “they listen to their clients”, but Jodi really knows what this means. Jodi heard what I was trying to achieve from a style perspective, and offered up specific ideas and solutions that turned out to perfectly realize those goals. She was also not shy helping me course-correct either if an idea or issue I had needed guidance. KitchenVisions was always there for me if I reached out with a question – I rarely if ever felt I was waiting for a response. Although I know KitchenVisions had other projects going on, the focused attention I received almost felt as if I was their only client. I was also really impressed with how Jodi navigated a couple of issues that (inevitably) arose over the course of the project. Jodi quickly and seamlessly figured out alternatives, turning what could have been disappointments into even better outcomes. Jodi and her team were frequently onsite to oversee the deliveries, guided the contractors when that was needed and ensured the designs and plans were being properly executed. This is key in project management - things would not otherwise have progressed as smoothly as they did. KitchenVisions is great not only with design, but they are fluent in all the technical aspects of designing a space - the myriad details, measurements, materials, etc. My contractor who has worked with a range of designers appreciated Jodi’s technical skills. While there are many other good things, maybe one of the best is that Jodi made the whole journey enjoyable! I count myself lucky to have been introduced.

Jodi and Natasha were very helpful when it came to several projects. I now have a new kitchen and eating area that incorporates a desk for my computer. It is the best. They also helped with a do over of our fireplace and mantel which was way overdue. They had good suggestions and as I am new to the area helped me in finding places to look for things. I would highly recommend them and their crew. They put us in touch with CJ Roccio Construction who did our work. Rocco was so helpful and his crew Adam and Rory were the best. They were a pleasure to work with extremely polite and neat.

Jodi and her team helped us create and complete a full first floor renovation, including kitchen, two bathrooms, and a large family room. Words cannot express how talented a designer I believe Jodi to be. Jodi designed a beautiful master bathroom and kitchen for me. She then had an idea, and applying her amazing creativity to it, designed my new office space out of an existing walk-in closet. Working with Cheryl and Jodi was an absolute pleasure. They made it so easy to realize our vision by understanding our style and preferences, using our instincts to generate ideas that conformed with them as well as radical ideas that we had not considered but, once presented, fit perfectly. Due to their attention to detail, from basement floors, to kitchen cabinets, to lighting and bathroom design, we ended up with our dream house.

We renovated two bathrooms with Kitchen Visions. We gutted the kids bathroom and Kitchen Visions created a beautiful space with quartz counters, double sink vanity and durable and beautiful cabinetry. They designed the space, guided the process, and helped me choose tile, flooring, counter stone, sinks, and tub. What I loved most about working with this company was their vision and patience. When we moved on to the master bath, it took a while to come up with a design that worked for me in the space. I really wanted my own vanity separate from my husband, a larger shower, usable storage, and an outlet in my drawer to plug in a hairdryer. After many lovely architectural renditions, the perfect layout was executed. They even found me the mirrored medicine cabinet I desperately wanted that allowed me to see the back of head, but had enough storage for all of my products. Jodi and Marissa at Kitchen Visions are talented, professional, and trustworthy.

KitchenVisions designed my kitchen and bath in an in-law apartment. They were well versed in all aspects from design to spacing to great suggestions on materials. Cheryl and Jodie were always available to answer questions or give alternative suggestions. I highly recommend them and certainly appreciate all the help they gave to me!!

We love how our kitchen turned out. Jodi was great to work with. She helped streamline the decision-making process and offered design ideas we wouldn't have thought of. There were a few mistakes made, though it was all made right in the end. That's why the 4 stars instead of 5.

We did a complete reno of our kitchen and family room combining them into one large open space. We worked with Jodi from Kitchen Visions who consistently provided great design ideas from the overall layout and plans to all the myriad of details like cabinet knobs and pulls. We used several different materials in the project from oak hardwood floors, to shiplap ceilings, quartz countertops, backsplash tile, walnut kitchen island, and a brick accent wall in the family room and they all blended together perfectly thanks to Jodi. The contractor was Preferred Builders and Andrew was professional and very knowledgeable. His crew did great quality work on time and budget and were always very considerate of our needs has we lived in the house for the 3 month duration of the project.

Our project began as a 4 bathroom renovation, but quickly expanded to include upgrading HVAC and changing out 35 windows. As such, the amount of work necessitated us moving out for 5 months. We started by hiring a contractor who specializes in historic homes. In the past we have had much more difficulty selecting a designer as our taste is very traditional, and other designers we've met with only want to do things in a super-modern way. Fortunately for us, our contractor introduced us to Jodi Swartz. We could tell that she was different than our previous designers as she clearly understood what our vision was, and helped articulate that into the plans that she and her team put together. What really impressed me most was how well she worked with our contractor to execute her designs with such high quality. She was on site for weekly walk-throughs throughout the project and any changes that we made were quickly incorporated into the plans. Furthermore, I very much appreciated how easy it was to reach Jodi-- she was highly responsive to emails, texts and I never had to worry about things slipping through the cracks because she and her team were on top of everything. If something unforeseen arose in an order or delivery, they took care of it before it became a problem and delayed the project. Finally, as they charged us by the hour for work done, I could tell that Jodi was very judicious with her billing (which is not the norm in this business) and in the end I felt like I received tremendous value for the services she provided. I look forward to working with KitchenVisions in the future!

We used KitchenVisions for a complete gutted re-model of our kitchen, master suite, den, and living room and more. Jodi and her team provided an excellent collaborative experience that included multiple visits, beautiful design renderings, as many meetings as we needed, in addition to helping select, and work with, a great contractor. Their fees are a tremendous value for what you get, which is a true partner with uncanny professional judgment and execution in designing and building the best possible space. There were countless decisions and issues that Jodi and team solved quickly and without hassle, in a way and speed that only years of high quality experience can provide. In all, it was a fun and relatively stress free experience that produced a truly transformed living space. Had we not used KitchenVisions, we'd likely still be at the tile store deciding between 10,000 different types of backsplashes instead of enjoying our new home. Jodi and team are very organized, and come prepared for each meeting to maximize everyone's time. She did a great job narrowing down decision points without pushing in one direction or another, but rather by asking questions about what experience we want from each space. She will also steer you away from really bad design ideas you see in DYI kitchens. In all, we cannot . recommend KitchenVisions strongly enough, and will definitely use them in the future for new projects.

Jodi Swartz is a pleasure to work with. She's knowledgeable, opinionated (well, a good designer ought to be, right?), but was quite willing to work with whatever nonsensical ideas I had. And she makes sure she gets things right. She takes the time to do that. She also connects you with a good contractor who is honest, thorough, does terrific work, and is easy to work with as well. If I had gone to some kitchen store, the work probably would have cost about the same; perhaps slightly less -- but would have been nowhere near as well-designed and useful.

When we decided to custom build our condo, I knew there were too many choices to make and too many mistakes to be made. In conversation with friends and professionals in the area, I found that all roads led me to Jodi Swartz. Jodi and her team spent nearly 2 years with us as we designed the ultimate dream kitchen and entertainment space plus 4 bathrooms not to mention some excellent advice on a concurrent project we were working on in Maine at the time. The money spent on Kitchen Visions planning, oversight and advice was far less than the mistakes I would have made had I thought I could do this myself. Jodi asked so many thoughtful questions That never would have crossed my mind and yet were vital to the success of the flow of the kitchen and the ambience and function we desired. She also listened to our ideas and embraced the non traditional architecture and style we were after. I was thrilled not only with Jodi, Marissa and team, but also with recommendations for additional professionals that helped with appliances, lighting, flooring,window treatments and paint color consultation. I added a couple of bathrooms to the project and they jumped on those immediately and were really helpful in saving money when it could be saved. The thing I am most pleased with is their help in correcting a counter install that looked just a little off (not their fault). Got it replaced with no fuss (or cost to me). They wanted everything perfect and made sure that was the result.

I have little confidence when it comes to decorating and design and Jodi & her team provided advice and guidance before, during and following the installation. We were presented a plan that was easy to understand and execute. One of our contractors commented that he wished all his plans and installation guides were as thorough as KitchenVisions. We were completing a full gut renovation of the kitchen in our new home and hired Jodi to help with the design and cabinetry. While the new kitchen layout was in almost the same footprint, Jodi was able to create a much more workable space with so much functional storage! She was also able to integrate a very large wine cabinet fridge we already owned as well as a kegarator for the wet bar area, two non-standard items that she integrated flawlessly into the design. The cabinetry is beautiful and had all the modern features we were looking for (full size drawers for pots and pans, pull out trays in cabinets, soft closing doors etc). We were doing a major renovation of our master bath. This involved moving plumbing, electric and walls. We were very apprehensive and needed guidance. We were lucky to work with Jodi Swartz from Kitchen Visions who came up with a whole new concept that we had not even envisioned. From initial design to project completion, Jodi is a creative, knowledgeable professional. Our new kitchen, which occupies the same space as our old, flows much, much better and has significantly more storage. It is absolutely beautiful while being perfectly functional. I’m astounded at what she was able to do with the space available. Jodi is an excellent listener which resulted in a design that truly matched what we wanted and needed. She did as much or as little as we asked her to. For example, she went with us to choose backsplash tile, and we were done after spending a few hours in one store rather than days carting tile back and forth to many stores. The tile we chose is perfect. We wanted to spend time at the granite yard ourselves, so she suggested where to go, and gave her opinion and feedback when we brought home samples. Throughout the project, she expressed her opinion and gave us ideas, but understood those times when we made different choices. She let us know which choices she felt were important to the look and functionality of the result, and which were personal preference. Mostly, we went with her excellent design sense. Jodi's attention to detail in cabinet layout is phenomenal. She understands the minutiae of cabinet manufacturing. This helps her to work around many potential problems and to come up with unique suggestions. When it was time to install the cabinets, she went through the entire layout with the contractor, marking the walls or floor, to make sure he understood where everything should go, and where, on each wall, he should begin installation. She suggested cosmetic modifications that I would not have thought of, or possibly not noticed the absence of, but that contribute to the harmony and polish of the result. Jodi makes herself available which is a big help when on-the-job issues arise. I am very glad Jodi designed our kitchen, and if I had other renovations I would definitely hire her.

During our first meeting with Jodi Swartz of KitchenVisions she asked us to compile a list of what we wanted for our new kitchen. Jodi took our drab, dated kitchen and brought it back to life. New floors, ceiling, lighting, window, cabinets and appliances. The space is the same size but it's been reconfigured so it works better for us. More efficient, functional, comfortable and beautiful. Highlights include the gorgeous picture window, the huge peninsula that replaces the kitchen table, the granite countertop (Costa Esmerelda Rose), the tile backsplash and the combination white and dark cherry cabinets. Jodi's design was spectacular. She was a pleasure to work with.

Jodi helped us remodel our kitchen and dining room in the summer of 2013. She was instrumental during the design/layout phase. Ours was a huge whole-house remodeling project requiring Jodi's design expertise especially for the large main kitchen, a secondary kitchen/office, several bathrooms, a library, a media room, and details large and small for every room in a very large house. Her scope of work included floor plans, numerous cabinetry configurations, cabinet hardware, bath accessories, appliance consultation, and dozens of issues from structural modifications to cabinet finishes and everything in between, including kitchen sinks!
