I founded Angie Schwab Interiors in 2004 and I’m so excited about the unique interior design service that we offer and the distinctive way we deliver that service. While we can facilitate product purchases, we don't rely on those sales. We make the best design decisions for you based on your budget and preferences. This leaves you with a sense of comfort about our motives and excitement about the way we can curate your selections for a unique and interesting look. Our delivery of those ideas using ultra-realistic digital images allows you to visualize our recommendations. When it comes time to put those design ideas into action, we have a network of contractors and suppliers available to assist you. Let’s face it, there’s a lot to know about home building, remodeling, and decorating. With over 15 years of experience in Madison, WI, and bachelor degrees in both business and interior design, I have loads of knowledge to offer. I can explain things in a way you understand and I know the right questions to ask for you. Not only will I ensure you avoid costly mistakes, working with me and my team saves you time and money. We moved into a new home in January 2019. While the main living spaces (foyer, living room, kitchen, dinette and dining room) were beautiful, they didn't match our casual, yet funky style. Everything was the color of butter. We hired Angie to help create a vision for the space that was colorful, classy and scale appropriate (the living room is large with cathedral ceilings). We struggled to be specific in our style vision -- we just knew we wanted some color and personality. Angie came over, took some measurements, listened to our wants/needs, and quickly came back with 4 style options. We went back and forth about 3 or 4 more times, combining some elements between the options and bringing on some new light fixture options and art. Then we had a plan. Angie then coordinated painters, wall-paper hangers, electricians and delivery of the new items. Her team even helped hang the art and put together some furniture -- it was wonderful. I highly recommend Angie -- she was able to put our scattered thoughts into a beautiful vision and perfectly execute it within just a few months.

Angie has done many projects for us in our houses, from just paint colors to updating our entire house this time (planned and unplanned!). Thanks to her and her team, it was easy and the only stressless part! I know how talented she is but each time we get the proposed images-we’re blown away. We relocated and our last 2 homes were a few hours away and the design process was just as easy! There is no question everything she did in our homes significantly increased their values and many realtors/buyers noticed the details (and asked for a referral!).

I moved to a new location 4-1/2 years ago, and initially did a lot of work with different professionals and contractors to make the house comfortable and functional. But it wasn't all done, I was having trouble visualizing how to pull it all together. I hired Angie to design a fireplace mantle and stair rail that would speak to the different elements of the house, and to help select new living room furniture that would coordinate with the older and antique pieces I already had and loved. Angie listened to us and considered our personal aesthetic when recommending design elements; fabrics; and furniture placement, style and size. Turnaround was very quick and she always had solutions to whatever issues we were concerned about. Angie was very professional and very helpful. We can highly recommend her services to others.

We have had the pleasure of working with Angie on two projects. The first was for the interior design of our main floor living, dining and flex room. The second was the design of our basement bar and seating area. Angie makes the process easy and we've been incredibly happy with the outcome. This is primarily due not only to Angie's skills as a designer, but also her approach and communication skills. Specifically, • Angie asks the right questions then listens intently. She takes the time to understand our needs, lifestyle, design preferences and budget. This has resulted in thoughtful and spot-on designs for us every time. • Unlike other designers we've worked with in the past, she is sensitive to the fact that people have limited resources and offers solutions to meet any budget. • She connected us with a network of contractors and suppliers, a world we are not familiar with. Her recommendations led to our working with an outstanding contractor whom she ensured was very clear on the design goals. • She is an adept problem-solver. Once we pulled in the contractor, several constraints arose which impacted the design. Angie worked with the contractor to develop creative solutions to ensure our ultimate design goals were met. We would hire Angie again without hesitation should more needs arise!

Angie has patiently worked with us over a 5 month period designing and implementing a fireplace and living room redesign. Let me say - if we were on a deadline, Angie would have easily met all expectations. But we weren't in a rush and Angie worked with that. I was most impressed with her ability to listen carefully and propose designs based upon our personal style and budget. She has been very patient with our many questions and changes. We have begun making plans for other home updates and will definitely be utilizing Angie’s expertise.
