Nestled on a tiny lane in Santa Fe’s historic East Side, this adobe home started its life as two small houses that were joined in the ‘50s and then added to over the years. In order to create a more livable and contemporary space, the flow of the house was reworked, adding closets where none existed and an additional bathroom, while maintaining the casita’s original charm.

New hardware that looks old.
We organized the casitas and main house of this hacienda around a colonnade-lined courtyard. Walking from the parking court through the exterior wood doors and stepping into the courtyard has the effect of slowing time.
The hand carved stone fountain in the center is a replica of one in Mexico.
Viewed from this site on Seco Creek near Utopia, the surrounding tree-covered hills turn a deep blue-green in the distance.
Homework Remodels - Tri-lite Builders
The walls in this portrico were faux finished by the homeowner! She did a wonderful job choosing just the right colors to compliment her furnishings.
The result was the local 2011 CotY award for an interior remodel under $100,000.

NightScenes
This entry leads to a private courtyard/patio area off of the master suite. The LED up lighting grazes the natural stone and also illuminates the entry.
