This photo: For a couple's house in Paradise Valley, architect C.P. Drewett created a sleek modern kitchen with Caesarstone counters and tile backsplashes from Art Stone LLC. Porcelain-tile floors from Villagio Tile & Stone provide contrast to the dark-stained vertical-grain white-oak cabinetry fabricated by Reliance Custom Cabinets. Positioned near the base of iconic Camelback Mountain, “Outside In” is a modernist home celebrating the love of outdoor living Arizonans crave. The design inspiration was honoring early territorial architecture while applying modernist design principles. Dressed with undulating negra cantera stone, the massing elements of “Outside In” bring an artistic stature to the project’s design hierarchy. This home boasts a first (never seen before feature) — a re-entrant pocketing door which unveils virtually the entire home’s living space to the exterior pool and view terrace. A timeless chocolate and white palette makes this home both elegant and refined. Oriented south, the spectacular interior natural light illuminates what promises to become another timeless piece of architecture for the Paradise Valley landscape. Сложная двухуровневая кухня TIMBER | CLASSIC-FS спроектирована в современном стиле для помещения, объединившего в себе рабочую зону и столовую. Зонирование пространства реализовано при помощи подиума, стеклянных витрин и кухонного полуострова с удлиненной до уровня пола задней панелью. Безручечная система открывания AVANCE позволила избежать перегруженности в интерьере. В данном проекте использовано два типа фасадов: из шпона брашированного дуба и в матовом лаке из таблицы цветов RAL. Рационально продумано оснащение рабочей части кухни. Над варочной панелью находится рейлинг со встроенной системой подсветки. Кухня укомплектована встраиваемой техникой GAGGENAU. Холодильник установлен в специальные шкафы с глухими фасадами, винный шкаф встроили в торец кухонного полуострова. Посадочная зона в рабочей части реализована за счет накладной барной столешницы с опорной боковиной. В зоне столовой находятся шкафы-витрины со встроенной LED-подсветкой. Дополнительное место для хранения создано за счет напольных шкафов, расположенных под окном.

We chose all materials during the construction of this contemporary home, and designed custom furniture as part of the process to perfectly complete this functional, comfortable and stunning setting. The custom dining table opens up to add a leaf for a crowd. The counter stools are clad in white leather and swivel.

Working on this modern kitchen design gave me great pleasure. Unique flat-panel door, integrated and paneled high-end appliances, quartz counters, lacquered and wood veneer finishes, are just a few attributes of this stunning kitchen. Many intricate details, handle-less design, ample modern storage, elevated this kitchen to be one of my favorites projects.

This private residence in Toronto has the distinction of being the first building in North America to be conceived and built from the ground up using the principles of BioGeometry®. Built to the highest standards, it is a true “green” building, green in the context of being true to nature and sensitive to Earth’s demands. The application of BioGeometry® has created a habitat that promotes a frequency of optimum health and well-being for the occupants. Blending with the neighbouring houses (as required by the Building Department) and built with natural materials, this home is a beacon of health, affecting the surrounding neighbourhood. The BioGeometric principles used in the design and construction allow the house to have a positive effect on pollution and on any deleterious EMF emissions caused by high-tension wires and cellphone towers.

This project entailed converting a 150-year church into a family home. The right-hand wall of the kitchen is comprised of shallow pantries to achieve maximum storage with exceptional accessibility and centuate the height of the kitchen area. In order to avoid cutting GPO’s and isolating switches into the Caesar Stone “Statuario Nuvo” splash back we constructed 50mm wide panels for cable voids and balanced these with 50mm fillers at each end of the cabinet run. Low profile task lights and cables routed into the matching Lamiwood “Blackened Linewood” under panels are positioned forward for maximum light were required. The selection of Colour Panel “New Stainless Steel” in a velour finish on the shallow pantries and broom sides of the kitchen gives a subtle end note to the more dramatic “Blackened Linewood” of the central cabinets and island. This also adds to the impactful balance achieved with the pendant and racked ceilings sky lights. We have created a masterpiece of modern utilitarianism with a classic look befitting the rebirth of a grand old building.
