Springhouse Architects assisted us with advice and product selection for our recent home improvement. Our scope was initially to upgrade all the flooring in the house from the original laminate and builder grade carpet. Lindsey helped us choose a beautiful hickory hardwood, sparkly cream tile, and carpet for the bed rooms. As we realized we needed to also make other updates (good bye dark wood trim), she helped us figure out how to update the look of our 1998 homewith trim, paint, window treatments, and furnishings. She was very mindful of our budget and helped us maximize our design $$. As the project closed, she also left us with more paint samples and ideas for the future. Overall, we are really, really happy with our house update and tremendously appreciative of her design advice. We hope to bring Springhouse Architects back when we're ready tackle a future master bath update.

We hired Sheri to design a custom home for a unique lot north of Columbus, Ohio. She took time to travel up for a property visit and met with us to review some inspiration photos we gathered – adding her to our idea book on Houzz was perfect. We didn’t know her before this meeting and felt like old friends before she left – she has a wonderful calming nature combined with understated confidence that just leaves you wanting to give her a hug because you know she’s going to take care of you and bring your vision to life. We added some constraints to the project that made it more of a challenge than we expected; however, Sheri and her team never missed a beat! They were responsive and helpful throughout the entire design process as well as pop-up issues with permitting and initial stages of construction. We worked a good bit with Isaac as well and he was representative of the same qualities we loved in Sheri. She has assembled an amazing team and we can’t imagine having worked with anyone else. The house is now framed and we walk the rooms thinking about our collaboration with these amazing architects – it truly is going to be perfect for our family and how we live.

We hired Sheri and Scott Architecture to do plans for our custom home. We had a general idea of what we wanted and Sheri helped us refine it and make it perfect for our lifestyle. We live out of state and Sheri always responded quickly to our emails and was open to having meetings via video conferencing. We never worked with an architect before and she was upfront about how the process worked. What you decide during each phase of planning. It felt like we were a team. She was great at answering our questions and giving us her opinion. She was always professional. We really enjoyed working with her.

We love our house. She helped us design the house de novo and came out to the lot and gave great suggestions on location, style, and cohesiveness. If I ever build again she will be my first choice for an architect.

My husband and I hired Sheri to design changes to our house. We wanted to replace existing and add new windows, replace siding, add stone, and change other elements of our home. After looking around the area at many, many potential homes, we decided to design and build a home instead, specifically tailored to fit our needs and style. We interviewed several architects to learn their abilities, preferences, and willingness to work with us. After meeting with just a couple of architects, we discovered that most of them tended to be set in their ways and did not seem to be concerned enough about our preferences, concerns, and prior knowledge. Some of the architects we met with were so inflexible that they seemed to want to impose their personal ideas/preferences to the point that it seemed that these individuals only knew a single style/idea and everything else was unacceptable to them. We learned about Sheri (Scott Architecture, LLC) from seeing her work on another home plan being constructed in the same neighbourhood and decided to give her a call. Working with Sheri was a pleasure, and even fun, to design a dream home specifically to fit our needs, budget, and style. Sheri is an expert architect, pays close attention to detail, and perhaps most important, listens to us, her customer. The finished design blueprints were just what we wanted: it fit our needs, our style, our budget, and our dreams! Sheri did a great job, and I would highly recommend her to anyone with a dream of designing a home to look no place else. Scott Architecture did a review of a house that had been constructed a few months previously. We were very pleased with the review and was done in a professional manner.
