I found Natalia at Notion on Houzz and scheduled a meeting after reading good reviews. We had our 1999 master bath redone this year, and we love it. She is no pretense and good at what she does. She was easy to work with, understood the concept of what we wanted and presented us with a few choices so we wouldn’t get overwhelmed. She does not do cookie cutter designs. Each job is a new opportunity for her to shine. The construction done by her contractor Seth was amazing. Best remodel we’ve experienced. We were cost conscious and she was able to keep our wallpaper and vanity but make it look like it was part of the new design. Don’t hesitate to call her. You’ll like her. Oh, and she’s honest too. We gave her the keys to our house.

We worked with Natalia and Notion, LLC on our home kitchen project. The project included complete removal and new installation. Natalia took the time to work with us on how we use our kitchen to make it as efficient as possible. Not only does the style of the kitchen fit with the rest of the house, it still includes the "wow" factor. Natalia is extremely knowledgeable and detail-oriented about kitchen design and function. Our builder highly recommended Natalia from Notions Design LLC. After a few minutes she was able to fully understand our design intent what we wanted to do with a ground up new build weekend Lake House and how we wanted our retreat to look. She was easy to work with, very flexible, brought many new ideas to the table (many that our base architect overlooked) and really got the big picture! Natalia worked hand in hand with our builder to explain her concepts and clearly define her design expectations; this eliminated any builder change orders and maintained a very friendly project environment. She was very creative and really listened to us; we had a wonderful time designing and decorating our Lake House. She has been a tremendous design professional and true asset to have on our team for our project. Although, we live in Northern Virginia, our project is in Deep Creek Lake, Maryland and she lives in Pittsburgh, PA our remote locations were not an issue to coordinate and get this project to a timely completion. We highly recommend Natalia and we will certainly do other projects with her in the future.

I have worked with Notions (Natalia) on several different projects in our house. Master bedroom/bathroom, laundry room, and two bathrooms. Natalia throughout the process has been very professional and perceptive to our needs. Her designs are unique as well as classic. She is very knowledgeable about each aspect of the design, whether it be tile or light fixtures or flooring or anything else involved with the project. Natalia was a pleasure to work with. We gave her a unique and challenging space and she transformed it into a truly spectacular master suite, laundry room and office. Her eye for design and detail are remarkable. We were truly pleased every step of the way. We initially hired her to just design the spaces but then had her manage the project and contractors as well. She was very professional and easy to work with throughout the project. We had already had our contractors picked out and she was very willing to work with them and adapt to their style and work habits. She communicated directly with the contractors to be sure everything was going smoothly and was able to quickly find us a new and very talented tile person when ours was unable to do the job. We would highly recommend her for any remodeling project. Our kitchen was remodeled 5 years ago and I am trying to convince my husband that it needs to be redone just so I can have another one of her creations!

When I was in the beginning stages of designing my new salon, I needed some major help with the design aspect. I met with Natalia of Notion, and together, we came up with a design that encompassed both fashion and function. From the live edge wood countertops at the reception desk and salon bar/wine area, to the intricate herringbone tiled floor, and the lighting, she really hit the nail on the head. It truly is a beautiful space that accommodates the needs of the stylist and the guests that we serve. It is unlike any other salon in our area. We even have people stopping by the salon just to admire the design! Natalia was wonderful during the entire process, keeping with deadlines and making sure contractors adhered to our strict time schedule. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing design services, as she is an extremely talented professional who will ensure that your vision will become a beautiful reality.

My 2nd floor hall bathroom really needed to be renovated. I was going on houzz for years looking at photos and dreaming of a beautiful new bathroom. I found Natalia (Notion) on houzz and scheduled a meeting with her. I liked her from the start and felt she would be someone I could work with. I was really nervous about doing this project because I never had any major renovation done inside in my 30 year old home but I needed to get started sometime. After sending Natalia a dozen or more photos (most from houzz) -- and a few meetings our project started on schedule. Seth (her remodeling specialist) did the actual renovation of the bathroom. He was very professional and was careful about my home. He kept the area that was being renovated clean and separate from the rest of my home. Seth's attitude, work ethics and project understanding was exceptional. Natalia was at my house almost everyday checking on things. She was also always available by phone if I had an questions or concerns. I am so happy with the results. Next fall we hope to have Notion renovated our master bathroom and dressing area. Can't wait to get started!!!

We hired Natalia Dragunova from Notion Design after interviewing five or six other kitchen designers over the course of three years. Natalia was a winner from the minute that we met her. We found her design company after searching Pittsburgh kitchen designers on the web. We particularly liked what we saw on her website as nothing was a cookie cutter kitchen design. Something that none of the other kitchen designers seem to offer to us. She listened to our needs and desires and guided us through out the entire process. She is truly a designer with a vast amount of knowledge and creativity and patience. Our kitchen turned out to be more than a stunning and functional kitchen....it is a dream kitchen. We entertain frequently and the flow of our kitchen has improved immensely. We can now entertain and cook with a crowd in the kitchen. We cannot say enough about the renovation process. We were prepared for the worst after hearing about nightmare renovations from friends who hired other designers. Our renovation was flawless. Even with the kitchen gutted and wood floors removed we were unable to cook for only three days. Her contractor, Seth, was a delight to have in our home. He was so dependable, a true professional and he is unbelievably talented. Seth, was not only a craftsman but very knowledgeable about design as well. He and Natalia are a fabulous team. The timing of all of the outside vendors was impeccable, always on time or early. We were very pleased with all of the companies that were involved in the process. We do not have enough superlatives to describe our time with Natalia. She is an amazing designer and we cannot wait for our next project together.

We hired Natalia from Notions to renovate our master bathroom, powder room and bar area. I interviewed several designers but it was clear that Natalia stood head and shoulders above the rest. Not only were her design ideas superb and unique, she is extremely pleasant to deal with. She was respectful of our ideas while opening our eyes up to things we had not even considered. The project went extremely well and she was there to oversee everything. She was a joy to work with and our minds were set at ease as we knew she would take care of the unexpected, which of course she did. We have hired Notion twice: first for a long planned kitchen remodel and second for an unexpected bathroom remodel. We loved both and highly recommend Notion and Natalia regardless of the scope of your project. Specifically, we hired Notion to do a gut remodel of our kitchen in 2011, after seeing the great work they did on our neighbor's kitchen. The job included taking down a wall to create an open first floor. Natalia and her crew did a fantastic job. The work was incredibly well done. Every commitment they made, they fulfilled, on time and for the price promised. Among many other things, Natalia designed a custom backsplash, which used just enough glass tile to be contemporary, but not so much as to be dated. Her design provided the look we wanted, while maximizing our budget. We absolutely love the result. We were so happy with the work that we asked her to do the remodel of our main bath six months ago. This project was unexpected, since it followed a flood. Although this was a smaller project, with a substantially smaller budget and hardly any lead time, Natalia and her crew brought the same level of professionalism and creativity. We love this work as well. We highly recommend Notion and Natalia.

NatAlia is more than a designer She's an artist, and a craftsman. She's able to take a concept and by utilizing the subcontractors like colors in a palette, She paints the picture in her mind. Natalia is a wonderful person, I've seen her pal around with electricians as well as billionaires always comfortable, always confident. NatAlia brings something intangible to projects sort of creative spirit, that is a consistent vein through all of her work. I'd more than recommend her for a project, I'd advise that you are really missing out on an opportunity by not working with her. I've worked with Natalia now on no less than six projects. Notion did my kitchen. Natalia and I picked everything together, and she personally worked to oversee the crew daily. We stayed on budget and my kitchen is the centerpiece of the house and the perfect Italian girls kitchen I wanted. Start to finish, done in four weeks, with minimal disruption to my active family. Hoping we do my main bath/basement this spring!
