The focal point of this beautiful kitchen is the stunning stainless range hood accented with antique gold strapping. The marble backsplash was the inspiration for the gray and white cabinets and the two islands add drama and function to the space. Quartzite countertops provide durability and compliment the marble backsplash. This transitional kitchen features a coffee center, two sinks, a potfiller, 48" Wolf gas range, 36" Subzero refrigerator column, 24" Subzero freezer column, dishwasher drawers, a warming drawer, convection microwave and a wine refrigerator. It's truly a chef's dream kitchen.

Photography by Eduard Hueber / archphoto North and south exposures in this 3000 square foot loft in Tribeca allowed us to line the south facing wall with two guest bedrooms and a 900 sf master suite. The trapezoid shaped plan creates an exaggerated perspective as one looks through the main living space space to the kitchen. The ceilings and columns are stripped to bring the industrial space back to its most elemental state. The blackened steel canopy and blackened steel doors were designed to complement the raw wood and wrought iron columns of the stripped space. Salvaged materials such as reclaimed barn wood for the counters and reclaimed marble slabs in the master bathroom were used to enhance the industrial feel of the space.

This kitchen in an open-plan space exudes contemporary elegance with its Italian handleless design. The cabinetry, finished in Fenix Beige Arizona and Bianco Kos with a luxurious matt finish, contributes to a seamless and sophisticated look. The Italian handleless style not only adds a touch of minimalism but also enhances the clean lines and sleek aesthetic of the space. The worktops, featuring 20mm Caesarstone Aterra Blanca Quartz, add a touch of refinement and durability to the kitchen. The light colour complements the cabinetry choices to create a cohesive design. The choice of Caesarstone ensures a sturdy and easy-to-maintain surface. A spacious island takes centre stage in this open-plan layout, serving as a focal point for both cooking and dining activities. The integrated hob on the island enhances the functionality of the space, allowing for efficient meal preparation while maintaining a streamlined appearance. This kitchen is not just practical and functional; it also provides an inviting area for dining and socialising with a great choice of colours, materials, and overall design. Our client’s goal was to open up the kitchen to the living room area for multiple reasons, two of which were to create an open and inviting kitchen experience, and also to bring their beautiful view of the waterways surrounding their hilltop perch all the way into the living room area. They wanted to maximize cabinet storage as well as counter space. They also wanted to have a dedicated wet bar area. We wanted to preserve the existing wood ceiling, so we had to get creative with lighting solutions as well as the vent hood. That's why you'll see cable lights, sconces and toe kick lighting to maximize the light. The range hood has an asymmetric design because we wanted to center the cooktop on the island without touching the ceiling to move the range hood. In order to maximize the views, add storage and maintain enough space for the dining table, there are shallow base cabinets along the exterior wall. We also added a new doorway into the bedroom area for privacy which had the added benefit of giving the dining room new purpose as an entertainment area. We included a wet bar with open and display shelving, two wine fridges and storage.

Bespoke kitchen design - pill shaped fluted island with ink blue wall cabinetry. Zellige tiles clad the shelves and chimney breast, paired with patterned encaustic floor tiles.

The custom cabinetry was topped with beautiful quartzite Taj Mahal slab countertops. Creating a focal point in the room, we designed a custom stainless steel range hood that came with attached heating lamps and custom shelving. Completing the look is a custom accent-painted coffer ceiling in blue-gray, and a beautiful handmade glazed ceramic beige backsplash.
