The living room side of the peninsula was initially designed to be a desk area. During construction, the client decided that installing shelves in the leg area of the desk would be more useful. The cabinet finish was applied underneath the shelves to achieve a finished-furniture look on this side of the peninsula.

This beautiful French Provincial home is set on 10 acres, nestled perfectly in the oak trees. The original home was built in 1974 and had two large additions added; a great room in 1990 and a main floor master suite in 2001. This was my dream project: a full gut renovation of the entire 4,300 square foot home! I contracted the project myself, and we finished the interior remodel in just six months. The exterior received complete attention as well. The 1970s mottled brown brick went white to completely transform the look from dated to classic French. Inside, walls were removed and doorways widened to create an open floor plan that functions so well for everyday living as well as entertaining. The white walls and white trim make everything new, fresh and bright. It is so rewarding to see something old transformed into something new, more beautiful and more functional.

Remodeling a home to include modern styling. Kitchen cabinets to a 10 foot + ceiling using a wood-grain high pressure laminate by Egger -- custom cabinets by Wood-Mode -- in Gladstone Oak. Doulbe island provide plenty of prep space while tall pantries with pocket doors allow small appliances and typical kitchen clutter to be hidden away from view. The original kitchen in this 1970s home was enclosed and filled with outdated cabinets, countertops and appliances. After knocking down walls and creating an entirely new interior, this breathtaking renovated space is now open, fresh and inviting. On a corner lot in the sought after Preston Hollow area of Dallas, this 4,500sf modern home was designed to connect the indoors to the outdoors while maintaining privacy. Stacked stone, stucco and shiplap mahogany siding adorn the exterior, while a cool neutral palette blends seamlessly to multiple outdoor gardens and patios.

This view is from the main kitchen prep wall back into the expansive great room... looking across both islands. This is a great view of the handleless channels used in the Vero line; very much Italian inspired contemporary. Full depth utensil dividers were incorporated into the drawers immediately under the Wolf Cooktops. It's a great spot to store cooking utensils to keep them off the counter.

This kitchen features 2 islands, both with a Cleaf TSS textured laminate surface. The base cabinets are all handleless, via Bellmont's Vero line of cabinetry. The upper cabinets are a back painted elements glass door in a gloss white.
