I had my doubts that the horrible old tub could make way for a modern walk-in shower, but they made it fit & it's beautiful! Working w/ the interior designer at the beginning to choose affordable necessary upgrades was helpful & fun. Also had the 70's style wall mirrors removed & a pass-thru cut out from kitchen to dining room - not an easy task because of existing electrical & plumbing.

Our kitchen remodel with Poulin Design Center was first class from the design stage through its implementation.
Robert and Chris, who were most often on the job, demonstrated the value of their experience and commitment to building the kitchen we imagined and wanted. Our kitchen included a couple of funky and challenging situations. They were creative and successful in coming up with excellent solutions in each case.
We LOVE the results of our remodel!

I highly recommend Poulin Design Center. I contracted with them to design and reconstruct my kitchen. Their designer, Taunya, was skilled in her craft, and also importantly, listened and understood my requirements. She was available even after hours when I was out of my usual timezone. Every person encountered was highly professional, knowledgeable, and immediately responsive to any question that I had. Each worker showed up when they said they would. They kept me informed everyday throughout the process. Billy and Philip demonstrated a deep and wide range of knowledge and skills required to complete a complex process like my kitchen - which required a total gutting and rebuilding of the kitchen. Poulin Design Center earned my trust. Over the years, I have heard many horror stories from friends about their reconstruction projects. I had no negative experience with Poulin Design Center - call them!

Wonderful workmanship with Poulin. We love the new kitchen design they drew up for us and really are enjoying our beautiful large kitchen with huge island in the middle. The project manager (Chris B.) was great and all the other contractors were considerate and pleasant. Each day the job site was cleaned up and we were informed of the progress through the Group Me app which was very convenient. We enjoy our new kitchen each and every day!

When we decided to remodel our master bath, we had several design companies look at the project, but none of them could fully visualize what we wanted, much less execute it. When we contacted Poulin Design Center, Curtis knew exactly what we wanted and got to work on the design. From the initial conversation to the final product, Poulin exceeded our expectations and we absolutely love our new en suite. Everyone we worked with was professional and fun. As a bonus, their 3D presentation gave us great confidence in our team. Next project we have we will start with them knowing we’ll get exactly what we wan/t.

I would like to begin this review of the Poulin Design Center here in Albuquerque with a gracious thank you to Marti, Robert, and Chris for giving my wife and myself a beautifully remodeled master bathroom. Marti, our design consultant, was well versed in the various options available to us. She made valuable suggestions in maximizing the utilization of the space available and the renditions that were presented to us made it easier for us to visualize the finished product. The design team Marti, and Chris, verified and reverified every measurement to insure a seamless installation. Robert, our installer, along with Chris met with us prior to the start of the project to explain in detail what we were to expect during the six weeks of the remodel. I can't say enough good things about Robert. He treated the remodel like it was his own master bath. He is a perfectionist, paying attention to the most minute detail. He would often ask either my wife or myself to review the progress made that day and ask if we had any questions. The whole Poulin team were excellent in communicating at every step in the process. I would highly recommend the Poulin Design Center if you are considering any type of remodel.

Poulin Design did a total master bath remodel and we couldn't be happier. From start to finish every person on the team was professional and their work ethic was stellar. Our bathroom came out luxurious and spa like just like we wanted. We will definitely use Poulin again. We highly recommend them.

We had our entire home remodeled by Poulin Design and were incredibly impressed and pleased!
Everyone at Poulin was professional, polite, and beyond creative. They made us aware of their schedule from Day 1 and never strayed from it. Our neighbors and friends were shocked that Poulin was able to stay on schedule despite the Pandemic. We wholeheartedly recommend Poulin Design!

I am so grateful to have had our team from Poulin for my kitchen remodel! I went in believing I knew exactly what I wanted, but with their technology to view a virtual finished product, I was able to see where the design and color choices could be improved prior to starting the project. They accommodated all of my unusual requests such as a counter area within the pantry wall, a mitered counter surface corner reflecting our matching slabs so the veining matched perfectly, and a window behind the range. Daniella, our design consultant, made the whole process fun! The team executed our project with expertise, professionalism, and cleanliness. We had a wall removed and flooring had to be matched between the two previous rooms using 16” travertine tile with no grout line. Michael spent hours grinding down the surfaces to level out where they didn’t meet perfectly. I can’t imagine anyone else in town caring about details like that! We will certainly be hiring Poulin again for our bathroom remodels.

We had our entire kitchen and one bathroom completely remodeled and are thrilled with the outcome. They are both beautiful, modern and so lighted to replace old and dark rooms we had for over 40 years. Michael was our main man and was terrific and so pleasant to have in our home. It did take a little longer than we had expected to do the work but the outcome is well worth it.

A friend had had Rebath install a walk in shower some years ago and recommended them to me. To my delight, Rebath did bathroom installs and remodels for Home Depot, so I was able to receive 24 month interest free financing. Rebath uses quality materials and the installer is a superb craftsman. I could not be more pleased with the end result.

These folks are awesome! From design to tear out to put back...neat, professional, detailed! They were always on time and sent a detailed update with pictures at the end of every day. Will never do any remodeling in the future without using these guys!

Poulin design center was just wonderful, all material was available at one location to make our decisions easier. Job started on Time completed on time , 3 weeks for a full kitchen remodel, and finished on time and on budget.

We should have done this project years ago.

We had Poulin completely redesign our kitchen. The result was fabulous. The designers and installers had one thing in mind, that we would love our new kitchen. Wonderful easy people to work with. They are focused on a quality product. They were prompt and on time and worked hard. I could not have asked for a better experience!

We hired Polin to update our two bathrooms. It was a good experience. We liked having everything in one place. It was also nice having the same person do all the work. We were asked everyday before work began and when it ended if we had any questions or concerns. The only thing is it would have been nice to see what the completed project was going to look like to make sure it was what we wanted.

The whole experience was absolutely amazing. I loved the design center and being able to pick out everything in one place. Taunya is a great designer and put together the most beautiful kitchen for me. It was fun picking out products and having Cole show me what my kitchen would look like on his computer. That process was so much fun and a very cool experience. Chris and Robert were very professional when they did the install and I felt very comfortable with them in my house. They are both very skilled at what they do and my kitchen looks amazing. When I called a few weeks after the install to complete my punch list they responded that day and completed the punch list the next day. Philip completed the punch list and even noticed some items I missed and fixed those along with checking to make sure everything was functioning properly. The quick response was very much appreciated and I was very impressed. The entire process from start to finish exceeded my expectations and I am so happy with my new kitchen.

I have engaged Poulin Design Center twice. Both were sizable engagements. In both instances, I was very pleased with their work. I found their design process to be excellent and cooperative. Our design expert worked with us throughout the process in the designs, in the material selections, and in periodic reviews while the work was going on. Likewise, the work crew was also excellent. I both recommend Poulin Design and would use them again.

We looked into Poulin as we had been given the HISA grant by the VA to complete a handicap access shower for my disabled husband. The design center was amazing, the process was seamless and the install was quick (4 days). The only ting that took time was waiting on the VA to award the money. Our installer Sam was met with a few challenges in a a very old house but kept rolling with everything!

Our project was very well done. We considered other re-modelers, but found them less trustworthy and vague about costs. Their estimates were lower, but Poulin staff was more professional, and we were willing to pay for that. We are very pleased with the results.

We used Poulin this fall to update a bathroom in a 30 yr old home.
We found that all of our contacts with staff demonstrated competence, knowledge and were reliable. The cost estimate was accurate. The items we selected with the help of the designer were the excellent quality we expected.
Perhaps most importantly, Alex, the person in charge of the installation was outstanding: he arrived on time, always cleaned up before he left or the day and his attention to detail was appreciated. I recommend them without reservation.

I decided to have my master bathroom and kitchen remodeled in 2017 and obtained bids from 4-5 sources. After visiting several showrooms and going over various possibilities, I decided to hire Poulin Designs to do the work. The salesperson I worked with at Poulin, Reuben, was very knowledgeable and courteous and spent several hours over several days to help me to make good choices of design and materials. I really liked that I could see all the product I needed in one showroom. I also liked the ReBath material for my new walk in shower as well as the Corian for new counter tops. The two professionals that came to actually do the remodeling did a great job of taking out the old tub, tile and counter-tops and installing the new ones. They worked carefully and precisely with the installation and they were very pleasant to work with. I am very pleased with my new bathroom and kitchen. The walk in shower is so easy to use and its a pleasure to cook in a lovely new space.

For my bathroom remodel Poulin offered gracious courtesy alongside overpriced products, minimally skilled design staff, project management with an emphasis on placing Poulin needs above customers, & one very nice but confused installer. Not surprisingly the billing office rep is the most efficient/effective employee. With delays & inefficiencies the bathroom is finally finished, but I won’t be hiring Poulin to do the rest of the house.

An excellent choice in contractor for a kitchen remodel and floor replacement, The design process as smooth and all of our questions were answered. The job itself was also smooth and there were no major issues. All small issues were corrected quickly and had little overall effect on the timeline and completion. The work quality was exceptional and Alex was an top notch professional and did an excellent job relaying information to us in a timely matter. Overall great job.

Our initial contact was with our Design Consultant, Ruben Cabrera. He was considerate of our requests, and open to design options. Ruben is kind, knowledgeable, and professional. His background in remodeling gives him the advantage of understanding the entire process. Our rating for our experience with Ruben and the design process is 5 stars.
As for the actual work itself, we rate this 4 stars. While the work was completed, the attention to detail was less than what we expected. We pointed out several of these details to the work crew. The bathroom does look very nice, however, there are still minor cosmetic flaws that we will eventually attend to ourselves.
Based on our entire experience with Poulin, we would recommend their services to others.

We had over 500 square feet of floor tile replaced with new 14x14 tiles. The work took a total of 5 working days. The work was done on a timely schedule and the employees were courteous, helpful, fast and did excellent work. Above all these employees were very clean put plastic to separate the areas that were not worked in. They moved our furniture into the garage to get it out of the way and protect it and put it back when they completed the job. The removal and disposal of the old tile was amazingly quick and efficient. The only complaint was that they were so good we had nothing to complain about. Communication from Poulin Design Center is impeccable we were given written info on procedures and were not in the dark at any time. I already got yu a job with my friend Al he fell in love with your work Jessie Thomas was out and gave them a quote and they are just waiting for the start now.

Our third remodeling project with Poulin Design Center was as successful as the first two. All three bathrooms were remodeled exactly to our taste and in a timely and professional manner. We've worked with the same designer, Laurie Merrill, and with Chris, Ed and Matt throughout.
We learned to rely on them.

Bath remodel was done this summer at a cost of About $8000. They went out of their way to get the job done before company arrived. Excellent work

We contracted with Poulin Design Center to do a complete bathroom remodel. The installer knew everything about the redesign, had very good suggestions and did a very professional remodel and completed job on time and very clean. Didn't have to do any cleanup at all.

Poulin Design did a new kitchen for me this summer and I'm happy with the results. From design to installation they made the process easy and remarkably stress-free. My crew was skilled, efficient, meticulous and responsive. I plan to work again with them this spring on a new master bath.

We had a guest bathroom completely remodeled with replacement of all fixtures and appliances. The workmanship was excellent and the timeliness of the work met our expectations. We found the staff to be professional; they listened to our needs and followed through with a design and implementation of that design to our high expectations. Of note, we had a master bath remodeled previously by a different company and found Poulin to far exceed the first company's workmanship and timeliness.

I have a small galley kitchen, and there was never enough cabinet space, nor did I have an inside pantry. The upper cabinets didn't go all the way to the ceiling and above them was just wasted space. I brought in Poulin Design Center to see what they could do to improve the situation for me. The designer did a superb job, extending the cabinets to the ceiling to give me more space, and added a pantry plus more storage space for my cookbooks and small appliances. I couldn't be happier! The lowers were refaced to match the new uppers and now they look just like brand-new cabinets too. The new uppers are well made and beautiful! The installers worked very well together, knew exactly what they were doing, were precise and efficient and prompt. The new floor is beautiful as well. The tile installer was just as expert and efficient as the cabinet installers. They couldn't have done a better job if they tried. I am very happy with my beautiful "new" kitchen!

Randy was very professional and helpful in giving us a visual of how our remodel would look and what would fit in our kitchen. He showed us all that Poulin can do and we were pleased with the quality of work we saw in previous jobs.

I felt I was led to believe that this company had professional workers in the Santa Fe area.
There were not workers near Santa Fe - every day they had to drive up and back from Albuquerque which ate into their work time. Therefore, the estimated 2 week project went on and on,, several weeks over the estimated finish date, pushing me right up against the holidays when my family was coming in from out of town. The company was in the midst of firing workers on my job so I did not have a consistent crew. When I asked the electrician who was installing the radiant heat in my bathroom - "please show me how to program my unit," he said, "I don't know, I've never done one."
Stay away from Corian counter tops - was not told it scratched and would have appreciated this advice. They also accessed my credit card for a payment without my permission. Overall - not a good experience with this company. I did learn a lot through this experience - now I will purchase my own materials online, for a big discount, and be more careful when hiring a contractor.

The Poulin Design Center has been providing complete customer satisfaction for over 32 years. We worked diligently to ensure Ms. Conover’s satisfaction, and we apologize that the job did not go as planned. Unfortunately the installer quit in the middle of the job, in order to expedite the completion of the job we provided additional help from Albuquerque. Although the electrician was unable to provide details on programming the unit, our installer would have been happy to review the programming of the radiant floor system at the end of the project. The designer on this job happened to be a certified Corian fabricator who is very knowledgeable, with 30 years of experience, in all countertop surfaces. Our company policy is to explain to our customers that all counter top surfaces scratch, the advantage with solid surface Corian tops is that they are renewable. Although we do our best to explain the advantages and disadvantages of the products discussed we do expect our customers to do some research on the products they choose. We are just one source of the information search. The customer provided a credit card for us to keep on file for any job payments or credits that were due. Apparently the final payment and two job credits were processed. We apologize for the misunderstanding of the payment instructions. We hope we can earn back the trust of Ms. Conover and stand ready to service any warranty items that may come up in the future.

Re-model bathroom. Bath to Shower conversion
Very professional and arrived on time, clean up everyday with minimal mess through job process.
Work was completed as stated.
Did an excellent job along with very happy with completed project.

We were thrilled with the design that Laurie Merrill of Poulin Designs created. Dark floor-to-ceiling cabinetry in a traditional style, white stone in the shower area, white floors. The shower has a beautiful design of blue glass tile that is breathtaking. The bathroom has the feel of a New Orleans spa, luxurious and immaculate, just the look we were going for. It was better than we hoped. The installation team led by Ed did meticulous work. They also were very careful about making sure our three cats were secured before coming in and out.
Having people working in your home--while you are living there--can be so intrusive. This team was considerate and we weren't bothered. We were so thrilled with the result, we're planning a second bathroom remodel with Poulin, with Laurie and Ed leading it.

After moving to New Mexico, we needed to have a bathroom transformed into a handicapped accessible bathroom. We also decided to upgrade the master bath which was in poor repair. Poulin Design Center replaced the tub and shower in one bathroom and replaced the shower in the master bath with RE-BATH products. The estimate was done promptly. During the remodel, they were careful in their plans to always have a bath available. They were accurate in their estimate and prompt in their service. Their installers were always polite, timely and performed wonderful work. Both baths are exactly what we asked for in the time that we needed them. Wonderful company – We highly recommend them.

I found their workers to be completely professional and thorough. They paid attention to small details. They arrived on time, completed the designated tasks and cleaned up after themselves. I had one minor problem after the job was completed, a cupboard door was slightly misaligned, and they returned to fix the problem promptly.

We are very happy with our kitchen remodel that was done by Poulin Design. The remodel included minor changes to footprint, new cabinets, granite and flooring. Our contact, Rande Broyles, was incredible to work with. While we had many ideas of our own, Rande's expertise and suggestions resulted in the custom touches that make our kitchen wonderful. The entire project was done according to timeline and within budget - and the team working in our kitchen was exceptional - always on time and never leaving a mess. We would definitely recommend Poulin Design to our friends and family.

Our new tile floors look amazing. We chose a wood-grain plank tile and it does look like we have new wood floors. The team (sales person, office staff, and work crew) was so professional, friendly, respectful, and very trustworthy. The mobile showroom, which came to our home, was an added plus when we wanted to select tile from samples. The work crew were meticulous with the prep of all floors and the end result is spectacular. Plan to use them again to finish two more bedrooms.

This was my first time hiring a contractor and I must admit it was a little overwhelming trying to figure out who to go with. I chose the sales professionals at Poulin Design because they made it very easy and understandable. They came to me at my convenience and explained their products and services with no high pressure tactics.
Once I decided to hire them they kept me informed every step of the way. The installers for both of my projects (carpet install and replacement of 2 bathroom vanities) arrived on time as scheduled. They were professional, courteous and friendly. They answered all my questions and made helpful suggestions.
I was very happy with the finished product, and Poulin made sure to reach out to me once the projects were finished to ensure I was happy and to answer any additional questions I had.
I think one of the best parts about working with Poulin is that they made what could have been a very difficult process a very easy one. I will be hiring them again.

We contacted Poulin Design to replace an existing bathtub with a walk-in shower. They met our request for an evening appointment, and arrived promptly as scheduled. We were very impressed with the presentation and all questions were answered. When it came time for the installation all aspects were explained, and concerns met. The installer, Rubin, was very professional and friendly. The installation process was completed within the time frame promised, and the quality of the product and installation were both excellent. At the end of each day of the install, Rubin, cleaned up the work area and explained how the install was progressing and what would happen the following day. We highly recommend Poulin Design and look forward to using them for our next home up grade. Thanks to everyone for a job well done.

Did a kitchen remodel in a 45-year-old house; it came out wonderful. They were consistently on time and completed the job in the agreed on 5 day time period. The workers were courteous, neat, and nice to be around. The work was well done and professional. A suggestion that we made to move a vent pipe after installation was well received, completed as we requested, and made the finished job easier for us to live with. Laurie, their planner came up with good ideas for design and what would work well together, and was delightful to work with. All in all a well done professional job that we were well pleased with.

Our kitchen was too small, so we went to Poulin to see how we could solve our problem. Poulin opened the space between our kitchen and living room, and installed a peninsula, an island, new cabinets, and granite counter tops giving us the look and room we needed. They were professional and knowledgeable about the whole process, from design to build. They guided us through picking our colors, the materials, and the finishes. Through them, we also carpeted and tiled our whole house. They oversaw all the subcontractors (electricians, tile installers, counter top installers, etc.) and we did not need to worry about the work getting completed. They quoted us a price and timeline. They finished the job on time and on budget. Once the work was completed, there were a couple of minor things that needed to be fixed. Their service after the install was excellent, quick, and courteous. We would not hesitate to recommend them as one of the highest quality companies we have had the privilege to contract. It has been a year and a half since the work was completed and we are really loving our kitchen now. We also had a shower installed and they performed the work to the same high standards.

I really love the job that Re-Bath (Poulin Design Center) did in my second bathroom. A complete tub around complete with 4 corner shelves was done in one day. The new fixtures are beautiful. The workmanship was amazing. The workman was very professional and cleaned his work space when finished. Thank you Re-Bath.
