My Father has a 4' x 6' world map in his living room and has planned/dreamed of a bookcase surround for over 2 years, but was never happy with anything prefab or workmanship of various companies he looked into; he is a wood connoisseur. Upon our first visit to Magnolia Custom Cabinetry, Miss Shannon (Office Manager/Designer), sat down with us and within a very short period of time created a beautiful computer generated design my father has dreamed of. She was amazing; asked all the right questions to determine "Exactly" what my father wanted, things we would not have considered and no one previously had bothered to ask. It gets better... After we selected wood, finishes, hardware, lighting, etc., we sat down a second time with Miss Shannon and the owner, Mr. Ryan Abel, and the 4 of us fine-tuned what my father's vision of the final bookcase/map surround would be. The installation occurred ahead of schedule of what was originally promised. Mr. Abel arrived at my father's home on time and installed the most beautiful piece of furniture my father has ever owned (my father's words not mine, but I definitely agree). We looked for errors after his departure, but found not a one; not because we were hoping to find one, but because we could not believe there are still wood craftsmen out there that will settle for nothing less than perfection. The crown molding on the top of the bookcase appears to be one continuous piece of wood where it is connected at the corners; the seams are non-exsistant. Pricing was another pleasant surprise. Mr. Abel took a 4' x 6' laminated paper map of the world (the focal point of the bookcase), and turned it into the most beautiful piece of art and craftsmanship..that's a lot of wood and a lot of work. Had my father taken the map elsewhere to be mounted and framed, it would have costed hundreds; yes, we checked! He charged my father a minimal fee for this additional request to the bookcase/map surround. Magnolia Custom Cabinetry takes raw species of your favorite wood and turn them into the most amazing pieces of art. Magnolia is a family owned business (Ryan & his wife Andrea). The two of them, to coin a phrase, bent over backwards, to ensure my father and I received perfection. Miss Andrea was unbelievable with her responsiveness to emails and questions during the entire process. My father will never go anywhere else again for his custom furniture needs in the future; he intends on employing Magnolia in the near future to design an entertainment system piece of furniture to match what they created for his bookcase, cabinetry to house his TV, stereo, and electronics. I was hesitant to post the picture, as it does not compare to the actual finished product. The wall is huge and I could barely get the entire cabinet in there; pics are deceiving, however Magnolia Cabinetry is not.

Great job! Awesome people to work with. They provide personal touch and lots of fresh ideas so it was so exciting to design my office with them. And install was flawless- Ryan did an excellent job and left my house clean. Way to go Magnolia Custom Cabinetry!!! I just love my new office! Julija Ribar
