This striking space blends modern, classic and industrial touches to create an eclectic and homely feel. The cabinets are a mixture of flat and panelled doors in grey tones, whilst the mobile island is in contrasting graphite and oak. There is a lot of flexible storage in the space with a multitude of drawers replacing wall cabinets, and all areas are clearly separated in to zones- including a dedicated space for storing all food, fresh, frozen and ambient. The home owner was not afraid to take risks, and the overall look is contemporary but timeless with a touch of fun thrown in!

This classic look with a long main run and large island is a perfect design solution for this newly created extra-large kitchen extension in Balham. Our Modern Shaker style in mid-grey was successfully used here with the large island in a contrasting dark navy/grey. The main appliances and fridge/freezer were placed on the main wall run with the induction hob in the middle and framed perfectly by the tall units. The large island with the sink, dishwasher and L- shaped seating creates not only a great preparation area but also a space for the family to seat casually or when entertaining. An additional bank of tall units placed by the entrance were designed to house the utility part of the kitchen with the washing machine, tumble dryer and the megaflow cylinder all hidden away. The overall design gives our client lots of space for a busy family life and entertaining, with plenty of space around the dining table and a generous seating area for relaxing by the garden doors.

When it comes to style, Danielle — who just so happens to be a designer — prefers a more modern look. “If I had to choose anything at IKEA, it would have been high gloss white and some orange. That’s what I would have done with a blank slate." The house, however, has more traditional bones. Danielle needed to strike the perfect balance of modern and traditional. While the stainless lights lean more towards modern, the cabinets serve as a graceful nod to the traditional.

Last time this kitchen has been touched was about 35 years ago, the couple asked to open up the pantry and peninsula to an island and that created a ton of space in the living / dining room all the way to the kitchen. В образе новой модели "Стоун" дизайнеры воссоздали образ фундаментального уюта. Здесь есть все, что дарит ощущение абсолютного комфорта: фактура, цвет, форма и расстановка кухонных элементов. Материалы фасадов выполнены из новейшего современного материала, имитирующего фактуру бетона и ржавого металла - отсюда и характерное название гарнитура. Угловая кухня с островом "Стоун" привносит в интерьер черты популярного урбанистического стиля, который приветствует такие материалы, как бетон, металл, стекло. Цветовое решение гарнитура выбрано в соответствии с основными тенденциями промышленного дизайна: сочетание светлого и темного тонов открытых полочек и закрытых верхних фасадов образует игру контрастов и грамотно расставляет стилевые акценты. Центральный элемент композиции кухни - остров, из которого дизайнеры сделали настоящий многофункциональный центр. The project brief was to modernise, renovate and extend an existing property in Walsall, UK. Maintaining a classic but modern style, the property was extended and finished with a light grey render and grey stone slip cladding. Large windows, lantern-style skylights and roof skylights allow plenty of light into the open-plan spaces and rooms. The full-height stone clad gable to the rear houses the main staircase, receiving plenty of daylight

Beautiful classic shaker kitchen on frame in dark grey finish complemated by Statuario polished worktop in 50mm. Perfect space for a growing family and entertaining with its large island with Bora hob and L shape seating. Classic cabinetry with slick modern lines and lots of hidden storage to include large drawers, breakfast cupboard and larder cupboard. Mirrored tiles used here as splash back add depth to the room and reflect gently light and other features.
