The brief was to create a feminine home suitable for parties and the client wanted to have a luxurious deco feel whilst remaining contemporary. We worked with a local Kitchen company Tomas Living to create the perfect space for our client in these ice cream colours. The Gubi Beetle bar stools had a bespoke pink leather chosen to compliment the scheme.

A bright and bold kitchen we designed and installed for a family in Blackheath at the end of last year. The colours look absolutely stunning and the orange back-painted glass splashback really stands out (particularly when the under cabinet lights are on). All of the materials are so tactile - from the cabinets finished in Fenix to the Azzurite quartzite worktop on the Island, and the stunning concrete floor. Motion sensor Philips Hue lighting, Siemens StudioLine appliances and a Franke Tap and Sink complete the kitchen.

As the clouds change color and are in constant motion along the coastline, the house and its materials were thought of as a canvas to be manipulated by the sky. The house is neutral while the exterior environment animates the interior spaces.

As purveyors of fine interiors, we've crafted a space that balances bold textures with a flood of natural light, creating an inviting ambiance that speaks to both urban sophistication and organic tranquility. Center stage, the island is a masterpiece, clad in rich, patinaed copper that tells a story with every nuanced hue. Its robust character is balanced by the sleek, modern bar stools, featuring copper-toned legs that echo the island's warmth and wooden seats that add a touch of rustic comfort. These thoughtful material choices are a testament to our commitment to creating spaces that resonate with character and warmth. Above, a pair of mustard pendant lights in Murano glass, hang with elegance, their vibrant color casting a welcoming glow over the island. These striking fixtures are not just sources of light but beacons of style that encapsulate our attention to detail and our flair for marrying functionality with aesthetic appeal. The kitchen opens up to an idyllic view of the garden, where floor-to-ceiling glass panels invite the outdoors in, blurring the boundaries between the built and natural environments. This seamless integration is a hallmark of our design philosophy, offering a serene backdrop of lush greenery and enhancing the sense of openness in the kitchen. With a foundation of polished concrete underfoot, the space is anchored in contemporary design while remaining versatile and resilient. Each element in this kitchen has been carefully curated to create a cohesive narrative—one of modern luxury interwoven with an appreciation for the beauty of natural elements.

Here is a kitchen with colour and texture combined to achieve a beautiful modern country look. With 2pac painted shaker doors and bamboo bench tops it really has an impact on the room. Storage was not compromised in any way with every cabinet revealing a clever storage feature.

A Brush with Brass - The cool metal tones (stainless steel, nickel, chrome, etc.) that have outsold all other finishes on everything from decorative hardware to faucets to furniture have become so popular they have begun to look commonplace. Warmer brass finishes (along with copper and bronze) have been moving in from the margins and are beginning to make a splash in high-end commercial projects and contemporary design. Brass offers a compelling and intriguingly fresh look, especially with a brushed finish that is different enough from the polished brass of the 70s to look brand new! It always takes a few years before new trends fully develop and become part of mainstream interior design, but brushed brass looks are certainly gaining popularity. Modern family loft renovation. A young couple starting a family in the city purchased this two story loft in Boston's South End. Built in the 1990's, the loft was ready for updates. ZED transformed the space, creating a fresh new look and greatly increasing its functionality to accommodate an expanding family within an urban setting.
