This was a very tight Master Bathroom with a tiled counter that went the length of the wall. A tight space between the vanity and the tub shower insert. The client wanted to have an updated bathroom to include a large tiled shower, a new more modern vanity, and a better use of space. The thought of managing this process was a bit overwhelming for the clients, so they reached out to me to take the reins on the project. The vision to update the tile with a frameless shower. Expand the opening to extend the width of the shower for ease of use. Upgrade vanity, mirrors, and fixtures. Luckily, one of the owners works with Hansgrohe, and we had the opportunity to use their fixtures in both the shower and vanity, which are stunning! These simple upgrades made a big impact and created a master bathroom space that these clients love. Kohler Caxton under mount with bowls are accented by Water-works Studio Ludlow plumbing fixtures. Metal cross handles in a chrome finish adorn both bowls. The Wellborn Estate Collection in maple with a Hanover door style and inset hinge Vanities support the beautiful Carrera white honed marble vanity tops with a simple eased edge. A large 1” beveled mirrors up to the ceiling with sconce cut-out were framed out matching trim– finishing the look and soften-ing the look of large mirrors. A Kohler Sun struck freestanding soak tub is nestled between two wonderful windows and give view to the sky with a Velux CO-4 Solar powered Fresh Air Skylight. A Waterworks Studio Ludlow freestanding exposed tub filler with hand-shower and metal chrome cross handles continues the look. The shower fixtures are the Waterworks Studio Lodlow and include both the wall shower arm and flange in chrome along with the hand shower. Two Moen body sprays add to the showering experience. Roeser’s signature niche for shower needs complete the functioning part of the shower. The beauty part is AE Tongue in chic tile in the “You don’t snow me”- 2.5 X 10.5 on shower walls to ceiling. Matching stone slabs were installed on the shower curb, niche sill and shelf along with the wall cap. A frameless custom shower door keeps the shower open and eloquent. Tile floor was installed over heated flooring in the main bath with a Carrera Herringbone Mosaic on the bathroom flooring– as well the shower flooring. To complete the room the AE Tongue in Chic tile was installed from the floor to 42” and finished with a pencil liner on top. A separate toilet room (not shown) gave privacy to the open floor plan. A Toto white elongated Bidet Washlet with night light, auto open and close, fan, deodorizer and dryer, to men-tion just a few of the features, was installed finishing this most eloquent, high-end, functional Master Bathroom.

Kowalske Kitchen & Bath transformed this 1940s Delafield cape cod into a stunning home full of charm. We worked with the homeowner from concept through completion, ensuring every detail of the interior and exterior was perfect! The goal was to restore the historic beauty of this home. Interior renovations included the kitchen, two full bathrooms, and cosmetic updates to the bedrooms and breezeway. We added character with glass interior door knobs, three-panel doors, mouldings, etched custom lighting and refinishing the original hardwood floors. The center of this home is the incredible kitchen. The original space had soffits, outdated cabinets, laminate counters and was closed off from the dining room with a peninsula. The new space was opened into the dining room to allow for an island with more counter space and seating. The highlights include quartzite counters, a farmhouse sink, a subway tile backsplash, custom inset cabinets, mullion glass doors and beadboard wainscoting. The two full bathrooms are full of character – carrara marble basketweave flooring, beadboard, custom cabinetry, quartzite counters and custom lighting. The walk-in showers feature subway tile, Kohler fixtures and custom glass doors. The exterior of the home was updated to give it an authentic European cottage feel. We gave the garage a new look with carriage style custom doors to match the new trim and siding. We also updated the exterior doors and added a set of french doors near the deck. Other updates included new front steps, decking, lannon stone pathway, custom lighting and ornate iron railings. This Nagawicka Lake home will be enjoyed by the family for many years.

This project’s goal was to create modern and functional bathrooms and a kitchen for a family. We added new quartz countertops and stainless steel appliances bring some life to kitchen. Countertop space was a priority for this project so we designed the kitchen to maximize countertop space but still have enough space to move around in. For the bathroom it was important to add modern features. In the master bathroom we added a walk in shower with two shower heads and some very stylish floors. Check them out!!
