Installation of the countertops, faucets at the vanities and the bathtub and the new vinyl plank flooring. The existing ceramic floor tiles that were to be replaced ended up not being a close enough color match to the installed tile that the homeowner selected to go with new waterproof vinyl plank flooring. We are glad she did!! It looks amazing!

Demolition of the existing wall tile at the bathtub surround and face of the bathtub can be viewed better in this picture. The existing bathroom floor tile was to remain, causing coordination issues with the new vanities to be installed. In this picture you can also see the darker floor tiles that were to be replaced, matching the 4-5 tiles on the left side of this picture.

This bathroom started out with builder grade materials: laminate flooring, fiberglass shower enclosure and tub, and a wall going all the way to the ceiling, causing the shower to look more like the bat cave than a place where you would want to wash off the worries of the world. The first plan of attack was to knock the full wall down to a halfway w/ glass, allowing more natural light to come into the shower area. The next big change was removing the tub and replacing it with more storage cabinetry to keep the bathroom free of clutter. The space was then finished off with shaker style cabinetry, beautiful Italian tile in the shower, and incredible Cambria countertops with an elegant round over edge to finish things off.

Kowalske Kitchen & Bath was hired as the bathroom remodeling contractor for this Delafield master bath and closet. This black and white boho bathrooom has industrial touches and warm wood accents. The original space was like a labyrinth, with a complicated layout of walls and doors. The homeowners wanted to improve the functionality and modernize the space. The main entry of the bathroom/closet was a single door that lead to the vanity. Around the left was the closet and around the right was the rest of the bathroom. The bathroom area consisted of two separate closets, a bathtub/shower combo, a small walk-in shower and a toilet. To fix the choppy layout, we separated the two spaces with separate doors – one to the master closet and one to the bathroom. We installed pocket doors for each doorway to keep a streamlined look and save space. BLACK & WHITE BOHO BATHROOM This master bath is a light, airy space with a boho vibe. The couple opted for a large walk-in shower featuring a Dreamline Shower enclosure. Moving the shower to the corner gave us room for a black vanity, quartz counters, two sinks, and plenty of storage and counter space. The toilet is tucked in the far corner behind a half wall. BOHO DESIGN The design is contemporary and features black and white finishes. We used a white cararra marble hexagon tile for the backsplash and the shower floor. The Hinkley light fixtures are matte black and chrome. The space is warmed up with luxury vinyl plank wood flooring and a teak shelf in the shower. This bathroom remodel required knocking down some walls in order to create a spacious bathroom that met all of the client's needs. Remodel with pale purple walls, freestanding bathtub, glass door walk-in shower, and rubbed bronze finishes.

This clients master bedroom never had doors leading into the master bathroom. We removed the original arch and added these beautiful custom barn doors Which have a rustic teal finish with Kona glaze, they really set the stage as you’re entering this spa like remodeled restroom.

The crowded, outdated master bathroom did not have enough space with the built in tub taking up a majority of the space. Access to the shower was limited with the door facing the toilet. By removing the tub, repositioning the toilet, and removing a half wall, the bathroom became huge! The lighter colorway also contributed to the light, open feel.

A light clean master bathroom is the perfect retreat in the master suite. Custom cabinets offer ample storage with hidden pull-outs under each sink, an extra stack of drawers, and a tower cabinet for each vanity side. Manmade quartz countertops mimic white marble but without the maintenance of real marble. Easy living is also found in the porcelain floor tile made to look like soft grey stained hardwoods. The porcelain shower wall tile is made to look like natural white Carrara marble. The flooring and custom cabinets are beautiful – but design is in the details! Free-hanging mirrors, the mosaic tile backsplash, accent tile stripes in the shower, and a soft blue wall and ceiling color really make this beautiful special. While we didn't move anything around in the bathroom we did upgrade everything. The new vanity has roll outs for storage and built in electrical plugs for convenience. The tower that sits on the counter top also has a built in plug. The mirrors are medicine cabinets for additional storage. The new tub is deeper and wider then the old tub for luxurious baths. The tub deck is Taj Mahal Quartzite, and we used the slab so it is seamless. It wateralls into the shower and was used on the shower dam as well. The tile is the focal point and is marble and mother of pearl. His and her niches with a mosaic pattern add interest to the shower. The shower floor is also marble. The chandelier is capez shells and adds just the right amount of bling and reflective quality for this tranquil master bathroom.
