Este pequeño aseo de cortesía debía contrarestar con diversión lo que no tenía en proporciones. Jugamos con un papel negro de jungla para aportar profundidad en la parte alta, recurrimos al mayor contraste con el negro, que es el color amarillo, para marcar rotundamente el pequeño mueble del lavabo, y jugamos a llenar la parte baja con un mosaico de mármol natural blanco en espiga para que no quedase ninguna zona completamente llena. Aquí el Más es Más. Por supesto, la lámpara debía estar a la altura y este Camaleón de Seletti fue la elección perfecta. We played with a black jungle paper to provide depth in the upper part, we resorted to the greatest contrast with black, which is the yellow color, to emphatically mark the small vanity unit, and we played to fill the lower part with a marble mosaic natural white herringbone pattern so that no area was completely filled. Here More is More. Of course, the lamp had to be up to the task and this Chameleon by Seletti was the perfect choice.

Our client was an international couple living in Geneva working in the finance and banking industry. They wanted their space to be a welcoming and peaceful nest after days spent abroad for business travels. As their countries of origin were different, their individual uniqueness emerged in the project through colors and lighting to be merged again in a seamless bright space that conveys energy and positive vibes. As wine lovers, we followed their passions with special embedded cave-à vin in their living room furniture.

When re-working a space, it pays to consider your priorities early on. We discussed the pros and cons of tearing out the bathroom and starting fresh vs. giving it a facelift. In the end, we decided that the buget was better spent on new solid oak herringbone flooring and new doors throughout. To give the space a more modern look, we opted to re-do the sink area with custom corian shelving and replaced all faucets for matte black ones. A lick of fresh, water-resistant paint, new lighting and some decorative elements (like the waffle towels seen left) gave the space a new lease of life.
