Overhead, clerestory windows ensure privacy while allowing in natural light. Positioned near the base of iconic Camelback Mountain, “Outside In” is a modernist home celebrating the love of outdoor living Arizonans crave. The design inspiration was honoring early territorial architecture while applying modernist design principles. Dressed with undulating negra cantera stone, the massing elements of “Outside In” bring an artistic stature to the project’s design hierarchy. This home boasts a first (never seen before feature) — a re-entrant pocketing door which unveils virtually the entire home’s living space to the exterior pool and view terrace. A timeless chocolate and white palette makes this home both elegant and refined. The room was originally a bedroom on the upper floor of this two storey, main door flat. The drains in all Edinburgh New Town properties is at at back and there was a considerable job in getting this bathroom drains to run to the rear o the flat. None of this would be possible in a one storey flat, only by lifting the floors to lay the drain could this work. Photos by Square Foot Media

This new build in Battle Ground is the true definition of "modern farmhouse". Yes it's actually a modern house on a farm! The kitchen opens up to the outdoor entertaining area and has a nice open layout. The coffee bar on the side gets lots of use from all of the family members and keeps people out of the cooking area if they need to grab a cup of coffee or tea. Appliances are Miele and Fisher & Paykel. The bar-top is black Fenix.

An open design with a focus on natural materials ‘brought the outside in’ to this lake house master bathroom remodel. Green design is featured in the wood selections. Reclaimed barnwood defines the space with the beautiful and raw tree silhouette burned into it. Ipe slats, a Forest Stewardship Council wood, forms the curvilinear structure above the tub. A combination of oak and pastel blue created a calming oasis to lye in the tranquil bath and watch the world go by. New Velux solar skylight and louvre window were installed to add ventilation and light.
