Our clients wanted their hall bathroom to also serve as their little boys bathroom, so we went with a more masculine aesthetic with this bathroom remodel!

Used a functional Singer sewing machine and made a vanity. Beautiful cast iron sink. All tile purchased at Lowes. Vintage shower head just added a touch to my new bathroom.

The master bath is a true oasis, with white marble on the floor, countertop and backsplash, in period-appropriate subway and basket-weave patterns. Wall and floor-mounted chrome fixtures at the sink, tub and shower provide vintage charm and contemporary function. Chrome accents are also found in the light fixtures, cabinet hardware and accessories. The heated towel bars and make-up area with lit mirror provide added luxury. Access to the master closet is through the wood 5-panel pocket door.

Glamourous but fun, bold and unexpected. Black & white family bathroom. Wall mounted Perrin & Rowe bathroom fittings from England feature over the bath and vanity. The floor tiles add the fun element, while still keeping in a traditional black and white format, but with a contemporary pattern. A large master bathroom that exudes glamor and edge. For this bathroom, we adorned the space with a large floating Alderwood vanity consisting of a gorgeous cherry wood finish, large crystal knobs, LED lights, and a mini bar and coffee station. We made sure to keep a traditional glam look while adding in artistic features such as the creatively shaped entryway, dramatic black accent walls, and intricately designed shower niche. Other features include a large crystal chandelier, porcelain tiled shower, and subtle recessed lights. Home located in Glenview, Chicago. Built in the early 1900s, this brownstone’s 83-square-foot bathroom had seen better days. Upgrades like a furniture-style vanity and oil-rubbed bronze faucetry preserve its vintage feel while adding modern functionality.

Taking the elements of the traditional 1929 bathroom as a spring board, this bathroom’s design asserts that modern interiors can live beautifully within a conventional backdrop. While paying homage to the work-a-day bathroom, the finished room successfully combines modern sophistication and whimsy. The familiar black and white tile clad bathroom was re-envisioned utilizing a custom mosaic tile, updated fixtures and fittings, an unexpected color palette, state of the art light fixtures and bold modern art. The original dressing area closets, given a face lift with new finish and hardware, were the inspiration for the new custom vanity - modern in concept, but incorporating the grid detail found in the original casework.

Primary bathroom renovation. Navy, gray, and black are balanced by crisp whites and light wood tones. Eclectic mix of geometric shapes and organic patterns. Featuring 3D porcelain tile from Italy, hand-carved geometric tribal pattern in vanity's cabinet doors, hand-finished industrial-style navy/charcoal 24x24" wall tiles, and oversized 24x48" porcelain HD printed marble patterned wall tiles. Flooring in waterproof LVP, continued from bedroom into bathroom and closet. Brushed gold faucets and shower fixtures. Authentic, hand-pierced Moroccan globe light over tub for beautiful shadows for relaxing and romantic soaks in the tub. Vanity pendant lights with handmade glass, hand-finished gold and silver tones layers organic design over geometric tile backdrop. Open, glass panel all-tile shower with 48x48" window (glass frosted after photos were taken). Shower pan tile pattern matches 3D tile pattern. Arched medicine cabinet from West Elm. Separate toilet room with sound dampening built-in wall treatment for enhanced privacy. Frosted glass doors throughout. Vent fan with integrated heat option. Tall storage cabinet for additional space to store body care products and other bathroom essentials. Original bathroom plumbed for two sinks, but current homeowner has only one user for this bathroom, so we capped one side, which can easily be reopened in future if homeowner wants to return to a double-sink setup. Expanded closet size and completely redesigned closet built-in storage. Please see separate album of closet photos for more photos and details on this.

This sophisticated powder bath creates a "wow moment" for guests when they turn the corner. The large geometric pattern on the wallpaper adds dimension and a tactile beaded texture. The custom black and gold vanity cabinet is the star of the show with its brass inlay around the cabinet doors and matching brass hardware. A lovely black and white marble top graces the vanity and compliments the wallpaper. The custom black and gold mirror and a golden lantern complete the space. Finally, white oak wood floors add a touch of warmth and a hot pink orchid packs a colorful punch.

Both the main bathroom and the en suite were out-dated and in need of a serious overhaul. Inspiration for the design of the bathrooms came from the 24x24" Marble Attache Lavish Tile. Using high contrast black and white accents these bathrooms are simple and elegant.
