Studio Mônty

I have collaborated with Studio Mônty on several projects over the past number of years. Katy and Mônica are a pleasure to work with, they are dedicated and highly competent professionals. They are extremely creative and innovative and above all a pleasure to work with. They will work tirelessly delivering an excellent service in sometimes difficult and complicated projects with careful consideration of the overall integration of the design. Their superb attention to details always results in interior spaces that both functional and beautiful.

I was delighted to work with Studio Mônty on my recent project. They made the whole process enjoyable and completely stress-free; guiding me through the design work, recommending excellent contractors, and overseeing the construction from start to finish. They had brilliant knowledge when it came to sourcing fittings and furniture which I never would've found myself, and it was amazing to have the whole thing brought together, without the worry I might get it wrong! The whole journey was exciting and fun, I wouldn't hesitate to work with them again.

Studio Mônty were excellent and Monica was lovely, she clearly has a passion for interior design and her expertise in not just interiors, but also larger ‘building’ projects which was not just useful, it was invaluable. I later learned she is an architect by trade! Monica took the time to listen and understand all the (our) issues and prevented us from making a number of mistakes. Studio Mônty designed two beautiful ‘new’ bathrooms while constantly delivering helpful recommendations regarding planning, budget (for what we wanted to achieve), which materials to use, where to source materials, tradesmen, colours, etc. etc. I’m certain that left to our own devices we would never have achieved the quick results we wanted (scheduling work and tradesman to flow smoothly on a project is NOT easy) and we would certainly not have kept to our budget! I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Studio Mônty for any renovation project!

Studio Mônty designed our new kitchen and the whole process was a delight from start to finish. Following initial meetings, we were confident enough to go away on holiday and leave them to it. We returned 2 weeks later to find our beautiful new kitchen installed entirely as we had agreed. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Studio Mônty were absolutely amazing. Their attention to detail is second to none. Monica is extremely perceptive and was spot on when designing our home to our taste. She was also excellent at handling the inevitable conflicts of a project with outstanding professionalism. We felt that Studio Mônty really went the extra mile and were very mindful of our budget finding options that suited us. We would highly recommend Studio Mônty and will definitely use them again.

Studio Mônty completely understood what I wanted from the off and worked collaboratively with me to come up with so many innovative and technically strong designs. They were completely committed to quality whilst remaining mindful of costs and had loads of brilliant ideas to make the most of my budget. I was kept fully updated throughout the design and construction processes and always had total peace of mind that the project would deliver on time and on budget. I couldn't be happier with the result.

Enlisting Katy’s design help was one of the best decisions we made during our 10-month house renovation. Having no previous experience of property refurbishments and interior design, we found ourselves a few months into the project in a panic, with no clear vision for the design of the house! Katy came on board, worked with some of the ideas we had and crafted them into a brilliant design concept, which we would never have come to on our own. She judged our tastes perfectly and gave us the confidence we needed to move on with the renovation. She also suggested some fantastic suppliers which was incredibly helpful. Katy was always quick to respond to emails and generally went above and beyond to help us. We could not be happier with our stylish new house and we are so grateful to Katy. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

From clarifying the brief to putting in place the final touches, working with Katy has been a pleasure. Her ideas and eye for design really brought everything to life, whilst her knowledge and enthusiasm provided me with the confidence and reassurance I needed as I embarked on my first such project. Each element was expertly pulled together, with realistic deadlines all of which were carefully managed and met. Katy was always available to listen to ideas and answer my many questions, and always provided the answers and guidance that were needed to keep things on track. I am more than delighted with the end product - a stylish but homely flat that I am very proud of!

We have collaborated with Katy on a residential project in West London. She had brilliant ideas for interior refurbishment and transformation of the house. Katy had great working methods whilst listening closely to clients’ needs, which resulted in a coherent outcome. She did not only lead interior design side, but also provided excellent project management services making sure that the project runs smoothly.

Katy did the interior of my new build in Scotland. I don't have much vision of my own but Katy was able to guide me through the process seamlessly. She shared her ideas at every step and listened to all my feedback. She took my modest budget and created a beautiful, stylish home that feels very special. Katy has a personal touch which made the whole experience enjoyable and importantly for me, everything was on time and within budget. If I ever build another house I will be giving Katy a call!

We were so grateful to have Katy's project management help and lovely design ideas on the redesign of our family bathroom - a project for a very small and awkward space that had been causing us headaches for a while. We were on a very tight timeline but Katy hit the ground running; she built on and encouraged our own ideas, suggesting features to help keep in line with the age of our property and the look & feel of the rest of the house, understanding fully what we wanted the room to look like but also how functional it needed to be for a family of 4 with small children! She sourced fittings to meet our brief and budget and did everything she could to keep timings on track (we were unlucky with some of the suppliers but she persevered and kept us updated throughout!). We are very pleased with the finished product, which works for us all, and thankful that she was there to deal with the headache for us!
