She took a very plain rental place and turned it into a welcoming place of warmth and sophistication. Don is highly skilled in all facets of home renovations, is a professional carpenter and a pleasure to work with. “In dealing with Saslove Design, I was impressed by the unusually good initiative that they showed the devotion to doing an excellent job, and the accomplishment of the customer goals. No sooner had I put my request on the BARK system, that I received their phone call, this, within a few minutes or so. The owner, who I dealt with, always had my wellbeing in mind. She always answers the phone or is quick to responds whenever that is. Her flexibility is outstanding. As the project develops, and needs are defined more clearly, she will quickly change her direction to align herself with her customers needs; a quick and attentive response is provided, and the ease with which she is dealing with the changes, seems to be a natural for her. For example, one quote was delivered late afternoon, on a Saturday! She will explore more than one solution and give you her comments on all of them. You will never have a surprise invoice. Her work is quoted by the activity and the hour, but she is generous with her time and respects her commitment. I gave her a 4 ½ *. Had she had a bit more business experience, I would have given her a 5*. I recommend her highly.”

“StyleHaus were the designers on the construction of our new Tapas restaurant and Wine Bar in Hintonburg. They took the time to sit with us and listen to our concept and then provided an absolutely wonderful design of the space. They worked seamlessly with our contractor and were there for every situation that required attention all the way through the project up to the very end. From overall design, to lighting and all the way to the final touches and details they left no details untouched. We could not have found a better team to work with and continue to be thrilled with how our business continues to glow as a result of their work.”

“Sascha LaFleur first worked with us to revise our main living space to better suit retired empty nesters still stuck with worn out furniture and 80's red/green decor scheme. We refaced the fireplace, bought new MCM furniture, and built around a favorite chair and artwork. We ended up with a light and beautiful room. We followed up with a front entry and downstairs hallway, main stairs, and upstairs hallway project, including 27' high wallpaper ! This year's project was the biggy: we tore out the 1993 tuscan kitchen with plaster walls and faux sky ceiling and dilapidated oak cabinets ... tore out the load bearing wall in our 1903 urban house to combine the kitchen with the underused dining room ... expanded sight lines and let in the sun ... installed walnut cabinets when looking south, re-installed some prior IKEA bright red cabinets when looking north, and white pantry cabinets to bounce light into the room. Glam glass tiles above the sink, SS penny tiles above the stove, white and copper quartz counters, layers of lighting, we got it all”
