Whether your need involves a simple consultation concerning paint colours or perhaps a purchase you are considering, or if you are seeking assistance in undertaking a more significant project such as a kitchen or bathroom renovation, Residential Interiors can assist. Our goal is to provide the “means” to your “end”. Our services are tailored to each project with a goal to make your involvement as pleasurable as possible. Whether you wish to be actively involved at each step of the process, or prefer to leave it to us once the concept is agreed, we strive to ensure you are delighted with the end result.

I hired Debbie to help me chose new paint colours for my L/R and kitchen. She came up with a clever way to use two similar colours in the L/R and down the hallway to the bedrooms. She also picked out a new area rug, dining room fixture and gave me suggestions for furniture placement. All subtle changes but a huge improvement. Love the new look!

My project was not a large one but Debbie treated it as such. She listened to my wishes and provided a range of suggestions that perfectly suited my taste and budget. I was guided through choices at supply stores that Debbie had narrowed down to a reasonable number, making the task of choosing much easier. Debbie arranged for an excellent contractor and followed up with each step of the project. At all times I felt I was in the hands of a professional whom I could trust.

I consulted Debbie on the choice of paint colours in my bungalow. She was very helpful, making Benjamin Moore suggestions for me. I wanted to keep some of the room colours, the same, while making colour changes in my kitchen area. She easily convinced me to paint a wall, a bolder colour. This was a bit out of my comfort zone, but it all worked very well. Everything blended nicely and I was happy (am still happy! ) with the choice.

Debbie came up with a beautiful colour palette for our home, and a very functional design for our busy family. She listened to our preferences and followed through on every question that we had. She was understanding of our budget and worked to stay within it. We plan to hire Debbie again for our next renovation plans.

We had a very good working relationship with Debbie and we are very pleased with the results. She listened to our ideas and gently steered us to "think outside our box" (and ultimately a more distinctive unique residential space). Our project was a downsize to a condominium and she helped us to use the large windows and colour scheme to good effect (while still resorting to some of our own furniture and wall coverings). She sourced materials for us and provided a working template of colours and textures. All of this has come together in a living space that feels "like us", yet also feels "fresh". We would highly recommend her.

Deborah acted a a pre-project consultant for the remodelling of our en-suite bathroom. As we completely gutted the original, it was a big undertaking and new ground for my husband and me. She was a vital sounding board as we embarked on reimagining the space. Her suggestions, especially those regarding the ideal dimensions for a walk-in shower, were invaluable. Her time, expertise and positive attitude were most appreciated and we would not hesitate to recommend her to any potential clients.

Debbie has helped me with numerous decorating projects. She listens carefully to my ideas and using her decorating experience and her extensive knowledge of available resources and materials helps me not only achieve the look I want, but makes it better. If I get bogged down by decisions. her advice is always practical and her excellent eye for colour and design helps me avoid costly mistakes. Debbie's friendly personality and the enthusiasm she brings to all the details of a project make her a pleasure to work with.

I have consulted with Debbie on several large and small projects over the years. She was quickly able to know our preference as to our lifestyle and budget. She was able to help us with the purchase of furniture, flooring, drapery, lighting, paint, accessories, and built in cabinets, etc. She is flexible and offers several options. She has reputable, reliable and varied contacts to work with. She has excellent taste and I have been extremely happy with her work. Debbie is personable and very easy to work with and I would highly recommend her services .

My friend recommended Debbie to me several years ago and I’ve beshe en very happy with her expertise as an interior decorator ever since. Her talent shines when putting a room together. She is mindful of my style and takes time when choosing everything; from paint colours to chandeliers to ceramic tiles. She did an amazing job in blending the old and new furniture in my living room. For my en-suite bathroom reno I was delighted with the end result, even the plumber commented on how awesome it looked. I would highly recommend her to anyone. I bought a 2000 square foot condo that hadn’t been touched for 10 years. Debbie gave it an amazing facelift. She has a fantastic eye for colour and introduced paint and wall paper that were both nuanced and « wow » at the same time. ( I call the ceiling in my reception area the Sistine chapel) Debbie quickly understood my lifestyle and preferences and was able to purchase furniture and accessories that were perfect. Most importantly , she was very easy to work with. She understood my schedule and my budget. I highly recommend Debbie and would use her again. In fact, I already did on a second condo!

We have undertaken several renovation projects with Debbie. She has a wonderful sense of colour and knows how to integrate the old with the new. She is very efficient with keeping communications open with the contractors and getting them to finish the work to our satisfaction.
