“Cami was so helpful in our paint consultation. I am very overwhelmed by paint selection, but she made it easy. At our appointment, she brought all of the color samples from different paint companies and helped me to narrow my choices very quickly. Once we had favorites, she painted large foam core boards and brought them over so we could move the paint samples around the house and choose final colors for different rooms. It was super helpful and went very smoothly. The house is repainted and I love it all! Cami is quick to respond and working with her was fun and easy.”

“Jennifer McLinko of Mise En Place was hired by myself and my husband to help us create our dream kitchen and bathroom. After several attempts by myself to create a functional design, we decided we needed help; a lot of help. Jennifer was able to take the vision that was stuck in my head and bring it to fruition. There was a lot involved in our remodel. Our house was built in 1930, so structural and plumbing issues came up. Jennifer was able to configure the design to overcome these issues and kept the design true to what we wanted the final product to look like. She was able to incorporate the functionality I needed with the design I wanted in both rooms. We are very pleased with our new kitchen and bathroom. And all of our friends that saw both the original kitchen and bathroom as well as the new and greatly improved kitchen and bathroom are amazed at the transformation. “We did a basement renovation in a space that has low ceilings and limited light. Emily’s paint consultation helped us design a space that lifted the look of the ceiling, brightened, and warmed the space. She helped complete the look with consulting design ideas for an open concept stairwell and sliding barn doors that added to the modern open feel. Five years later we just did a touch up of paint and we are still so happy with the color and the over all look.”

“Carly Gray is an outstanding designer. First, her personality: she is delightful to work with. She is thoughtful, enthusiastic, supportive and responsive. She has strong design ideas but is respectful of the client's preferences and wishes. She is assertive when it comes to warding off a decision the client might regret in the future. She has very high standards. No detail is too small to care about. She does not settle. Carly has great resources. She has a deep group of fine craftspersons whom she calls on for cabinetry, textiles, wallpaper hanging, stone masonry, deck-building, and more. Carly's skill set goes far beyond choosing paint colors, hardware and fabrics. For our gut remodel which transformed a 1970s townhouse over 18 months into a beautiful English-style cottage/manor, Carly designed floor-to-ceiling cabinets for the music room and built-in storage for closets in small bedrooms, altered vintage light fixtures to make them suitable for current use, designed and sourced a gorgeous custom limestone mantlepiece, and more. Her abilities verge on the architectural. In summary, my husband and I very much enjoyed working with Carly and are completely happy with the resulting home.”
