They were extremely personable, warm, friendly and charming and a complete joy to have been serviced by. Throughout he was thoroughly professional, always on hand to answer questions and to deal with problems and fully in command of expenditure ensuring that we got value for money at every stage. He has been very helpful all through the process and has continued to be so for the two years since its completion. “Unlike many architects who suggested they could draw up our ideas and designs on CAD, right from the start PWJ took a different approach. Respectfully suggesting we put aside our ideas and plans and instead asked us to explain what was important to us, how we live, who wants to use the different spaces and in effect set out a requirements list for our new/refurbished house. PWJ took on board our wants and needs and used their skill and experience to come up with an initial concept design which incorporated almost all our wishes. Then after a few iterations, discussions and education we settled on a design which met our requirements but was also sympathetic to the existing structure. Three weeks ago we had planning approval with no objections or preconditions. So far the experience has been very positive and I have found Rebecca and Jamie to be both professional and helpful but also straight talking and honest which I have found very useful. I would rate PWJ as 5 star but we are only through the first phase and so I am reserving judgement until the job is complete. So now we move to Building Regs and detailed design ready for going to tender. More later......”
