We worked with Beckmann Architecture on the extension and complete refurbishment of our 1930’s home. From the very first meeting we were impressed with Connors knowledge and professionalism. The tender drawings provided were very detailed and every aspect of the project had been well thought through. We contacted Connor to design our ground floor single storey extension. Having never been through the process before, we had no idea what to expect and were incredibly pleased that we went with Connor's services. Connor clearly explained the process to us and was able to design a space that was exactly to our requirements. We did not have an easy time of it with regards to planning permission, however Connor made what could have been a really stressful time, much easier, with his calm nature and clarity in explaining certain aspects. His perseverance and great advice ensured that we finally ended up with exactly the extension we wanted. We are delighted with the final result and would 100% recommend Connor.

Connor is excellent, he designed 2 detached family homes for us as a new build project to develop the site of our former bungalow. He went out of his way to meet us and talk face to face about every aspect as we went along, he knew when to use his professional judgement and when to ask us what we wanted, it was a perfectly balanced working relationship and we were very impressed. The houses that he designed were beautiful, functional and economic in terms of cost and building techniques, a testament to their well thought out plans. His drawings and presentation of the project was fantastic, beautifully rendered and kept in context with the surrounding properties for scale and reference, presented to us in large format and digital copies, we were always crystal clear what he was showing us in every aspect. When it got down to the tedious paperwork and form filling required to get our project through planning Connor was studious and persistent, knowing when to accept the system for what it was and when to dig his heels in, needless to say he got our project approved and wasn't pushed around by the council, again, very impressed. The project has yet to be built but that is only down to the difficult mortgage market as a result of covid. We are never the less very excited to build our new home and have no doubt that Connor will be there to support us through the build process and sort out any difficulties that might present themselves. Connor was great to work with on our project. He brought ideas that we hadn't considered and added huge value in terms of design. Having said that, where function and cost were paramount Connor came up with solutions, recommending and sourcing suppliers where we struggled. Everyone who's seen our project loves it. Its an amazing space; beautiful inside and out.
