We are so excited to share with you this beautiful kitchen remodel in Lakeville, MN. Our clients came to us wanting to take out the wall between the kitchen and the dining room. By taking out the wall, we were able to create a new larger kitchen! We kept the sink in the same location, and then moved the stove to the same wall as the sink. The fridge was moved to the far wall, we added an oven/micro combinations and a large pantry. We even had some extra room to create a desk space. The coolest thing about this kitchen is the DOUBLE island! The island closest to the sink functions as a working island and the other is for entertaining with seating for guests. What really shines here is the combination of color that creates such a beautiful subtle elegance. The warm gray color of the cabinets were paired with the brown stained cabinets on the island. We then selected darker honed granite countertops on the perimeter cabinets and a light gray quartz countertop for the islands. The slightly marbled backsplash helps to tie everything in and give such a richness to the whole kitchen. I love adding little pops throughout the kitchen, so matte black hardware and the matte black sink light are perfect! We are so happy with the final result of this kitchen! Removing the wall between the old kitchen and great room allowed room for two islands, work flow and storage. A beverage center and banquet seating was added to the breakfast nook. The laundry/mud room matches the new kitchen and includes a step in pantry.

This client had a dated builder grade kitchen. They chose white shaker for the upper cabinets and navy blue shaker for the lower and island. The gold faucet, pot filler and hardware really add sophistication to this kitchen. The quartz tops and back splash are Silestone Ethereal Glow Polished

Removing the corner pantry to create a butler's pantry with microwave and floating shelving for storage. The 'old' dining area has a 'pocket office' with great natural light to be used as a homework area. The metal/glass barn door provides some privacy and a beautiful feature from the entry view.

The bright and clean look of the overall kitchen is contrasted beautifully by the addition of the luxury vinyl flooring.

Our clients returned to their home in Burke, Virginia, after renting it during military assignments. Their outdated and cramped kitchen did not work for their busy family. They turned to FA Design Build to redesign the look and layout of the space. Originally, the space was a breakfast nook, a small U-shaped kitchen, and a garage entryway. By removing a framed pantry, bulkheads, and walls, we opened the space the length of the house. The result is an open concept room that serves as the hub of the home. The design incorporates stained cherry cabinetry, Armstrong Vivero luxury vinyl floor, and quartz countertops -- all ideals choices for beauty and low maintenance living.
