These homeowners told us they were so in love with some of the details in our Springbank Hill renovation that they wanted to see a couple of them in their own home - so we obliged! It was an honour to know that we nailed the design on the original so perfectly that another family would want to bring a similar version of it into their own home. In the kitchen, we knocked out the triangular island and the pantry to make way for a better layout with even more storage space for this young family. A fresh laundry room with ample cabinetry and a serene ensuite with a show-stopping black tub also brought a new look to what was once a dark and dated builder grade home. Complete kitchen remodeling and planning - we enlarged the space by removing the existing angled wall between the new refrigerator location and the kitchen window allowing for more cabinets Stock Cherry Rope cabinetry used with several customized modifications ie: Microwave shelf, window valance and custom bookcases. Flooring is natural red oak wood 3 ¼” planks Light granite counter tops and glass subway tiles in a neutral color to match the paint create a classic, timeless design. LED colored rope lights add accent up-lighting to fit any mood.

This beautiful open concept kitchen and dining room area features white inset cabinetry, Wolf appliances, a honed Bohemian Gray Granite countertop, custom hood cover, gold lighting details and a full porcelain backsplash. This home retained it's Baltimore city charm whilst opening up the space by removing a wall separating the kitchen and dining room and refinishing the hardwood floors.

Despite its diamond-mullioned exterior, this stately home’s interior takes a more light-hearted approach to design. The Dove White inset cabinetry is classic, with recessed panel doors, a deep bevel inside profile and a matching hood. Streamlined brass cup pulls and knobs are timeless. Departing from the ubiquitous crown molding is a square top trim. The layout supplies plenty of function: a paneled refrigerator; prep sink on the island; built-in microwave and second oven; built-in coffee maker; and a paneled wine refrigerator. Contrast is provided by the countertops and backsplash: honed black Jet Mist granite on the perimeter and a statement-making island top of exuberantly-patterned Arabescato Corchia Italian marble. Flooring pays homage to terrazzo floors popular in the 70’s: “Geotzzo” tiles of inlaid gray and Bianco Dolomite marble. Field tiles in the breakfast area and cooking zone perimeter are a mix of small chips; feature tiles under the island have modern rectangular Bianco Dolomite shapes. Enameled metal pendants and maple stools and dining chairs add a mid-century Scandinavian touch. The turquoise on the table base is a delightful surprise. An adjacent pantry has tall storage, cozy window seats, a playful petal table, colorful upholstered ottomans and a whimsical “balloon animal” stool. This kitchen was done in collaboration with Daniel Heighes Wismer and Greg Dufner of Dufner Heighes and Sarah Witkin of Bilotta Architecture. Dark cabinets are the center of attention in this stunning Alaskan home. They feature full extension glides, soft close drawers and doors. Also including premium painted maple cabinets, complete with dove hardware drawer boxes, and options for pull outs and accessories. Highlighted with gold hardware and paired with contrasting counters, these dark cabinets give a dramatic flare to both of these kitchen and bathroom spaces.

A large scale kitchen and bath update created with entertaining in mind. The open floor plan allows for easy flow of guests between the living, kitchen and dining areas of the home.
