This open concept remodel is the home to new Rustic Hickory kitchen cabinets from Dura Supreme Cabinetry shown in the Morel stained finish. A bar area is tucked behind a stunning weathered bar door, opening up to reveal beautiful Classic White cabinets with open shelves for decoratively displaying a collection of dishware. The seating at the peninsula of this rustic hickory kitchen gives a graceful nod towards nature. The branches in the seat mirror the other organic elements in this design and the landscape that surround this home. Dura Supreme Cabinetry recently introduced a new wood species to their product offerings, Rustic Hickory. Rustic Hickory wood is known for its dramatic rustic appearance and color variation as well as knots, burls, mineral streaks, and pitch pockets. The color will vary from creamy white to dark brown. Knots and character marks will be random and prevalent in all shapes and sizes. This beautiful wood species offers versatility with rustic appeal. Silestone Ethereal Glow Quartz counters, KitchenAid appliances, COREtec Barnwood Rustic Pine vinyl plank flooring, and Daltile Sublimity Namaste herringbone wall tile also featured. Goals The clients main goal was more space. They desired a new kitchen that was large enough to fit their growing family and to update other rooms in their home to fit their contemporary style. Our Design Solution In order to enlarge the kitchen, we had to build a new addition. The original kitchen was just too small and had no where to expand to within the house. With moving the entire kitchen into the addition, there was now room to create a mudroom and a new bathroom. Above the new kitchen, we gave the client a new master suite. We used white cabinets, a custom wood counter, and gray back splash tile, to give the kitchen the contemporary feel the clients were seeking. C.J South Photography

Kitchen remodeling project where the homeowners elected to upgrade their kitchen to a more modern look. The cabinet boxes are Bridgewood frameless and the doors are Northern Contours Level Series in Acrylic White. The upper cabinets are all push to open. The kitchen countertop was done in a 3” thick Cambria quartz done in Britanicca and the island legs have 3” waterfall legs. The bar area was done in Northern Contours acrylic and the glass shelves are backlit with LED’s so the shelf illuminates. Some other special features that were done with this remodel is a butler’s pantry, ice machine, microwave drawer and a full height quartz backsplash.

Love the texture of the raw edge shelving here, especially against that gorgeous blue @heathceramics tile. Texture, color, and an organic feel to the space...we are in love.
