Phase One took this cramped, dated lake house into a flowing, open space to maximize highly trafficked areas and provide a better sense of togetherness. Upon discovering a master bathroom leak, we also updated the bathroom giving it a sensible and functional lift in style.

We reused the existing bar but added a new backsplash and counter to tie the kitchen and bar area together.

Right off the kitchen is a butler’s pantry. The dark blue raised panel cabinets with satin gold pulls and the white quartz counter correspond with the kitchen. We used mirrors for the backsplash and on the upper cabinets. And, of course, no beverage center is complete with a wine refrigerator! Sleek and contemporary, this beautiful home is located in Villanova, PA. Blue, white and gold are the palette of this transitional design. With custom touches and an emphasis on flow and an open floor plan, the renovation included the kitchen, family room, butler’s pantry, mudroom, two powder rooms and floors. The sophisticated wine library adjacent to the kitchen provides a cozy spot for friends and family to gather to share a glass of wine or to catch up on a good book. The striking dark blue cabinets showcase both open and closed storage cabinets and also a tall wine refrigerator that stores over 150 bottles of wine. The quartz countertop provides a durable bar top for entertaining, while built in electrical outlets provide the perfect spot to plug in a blender. Comfortable swivel chairs and a small marble cocktail table creates an intimate seating arrangement for visiting with guests or for unwinding with a good book. The 11' ceiling height and the large picture window add a bit of drama to the space, while an elegant sisal rug keeps the room from being too formal.

Versitile as either a coffee & tea station or a home for your their wine collection, we found the perfect nook for this added function that sits conveniently between the dining area, living area, and kitchen.

In this full service residential remodel project, we left no stone, or room, unturned. We created a beautiful open concept living/dining/kitchen by removing a structural wall and existing fireplace. This home features a breathtaking three sided fireplace that becomes the focal point when entering the home. It creates division with transparency between the living room and the cigar room that we added. Our clients wanted a home that reflected their vision and a space to hold the memories of their growing family. We transformed a contemporary space into our clients dream of a transitional, open concept home.

This wine bar was created with Siteline frameless Malone door style Matte Thermally Fused Laminate cabinets in Aria finish. The countertop is MSI Calacatta Bali with 2” high backsplash.

Similarly to the kitchen, we decided to anchor both sides of the built-ins with floor-to-ceiling towers. The clean lines of the cabinetry and sleekness of the open shelves are balanced out by a decorative arch in the center that gives the built-ins the classic touch our client was drawn to. We completed the built-in design with sleek glass shelving to display decorative barware and accessories.

Sometimes things just happen organically. This client reached out to me in a professional capacity to see if I wanted to advertise in his new magazine. I declined at that time because as team we have chosen to be referral based, not advertising based. Even with turning him down, he and his wife decided to sign on with us for their basement... which then upon completion rolled into their main floor (part 2). They wanted a very distinct style and already had a pretty good idea of what they wanted. We just helped bring it all to life. They wanted a kid friendly space that still had an adult vibe that no longer was based off of furniture from college hand-me-down years. Since they loved modern farmhouse style we had to make sure there was shiplap and also some stained wood elements to warm up the space. This space is a great example of a very nice finished basement done cost-effectively without sacrificing some comforts or features.
