The homeowners wanted a lot in this medium-sized bathroom. They requested a stacking washer and dryer, a place for the ironing board, as much storage as possible along with the mandatory toilet, shower and double vanity. A custom unit spans the whole wall, incorporating the washer and dryer unit in with the vanity. The washer and dryer can be hidden when not in use. The pocket doors can be opened and slid back within the unit when in use, so that the doors are out of the way and also allowing for the needed ventilation when the washer and dryer are in use. Pull-out storage beside the washer and dryer holds laundry supplies as well as an ironing board and iron. Quartz countertops and marble floors add to the luxurious look of this space.

This project was a new construction bungalow in the Historic Houston Heights. We were brought in late construction phase so while we were able to design some cabinetry we primarily were only able to give input on selections and decoration.

In this whole house remodel all the bathrooms were refreshed. The guest and kids bath both received a new tub, tile surround and shower doors. The vanities were upgraded for more storage. Taj Mahal Quartzite was used for the counter tops. The guest bath has an interesting shaded tile with a Moroccan lamp inspired accent tile. This created a sophisticated guest bathroom. The kids bath has clean white x-large subway tiles with a fun penny tile stripe.

This forever home, perfect for family bonding, and entertaining is a transitional residence that exudes warmth, function and style. This busy family had recently purchased a home that was elegant on the outside, but dated on the inside. Upon a trades referral, they called on Studio Nine to make their dreams a reality. Then ensued a down to the studs renovation, moving walls and reworking existing rooms, resulting in dramatic results. Valerie & Nadia layered the space in warmth and style throughout, creating a balance of functionality & beauty. Our client’s large family of five was shrinking through the years, so they decided it was time for a downsize and a move from Westlake Village to Oak Park. They found the ideal single-story home on a large flag lot, but it needed a major overhaul, starting with the awkward spatial floorplan. These clients knew the home needed much work. They were looking for a firm that could handle the necessary architectural spatial redesign, interior design details, and finishes as well as deliver a high-quality remodeling experience. JRP’s design team got right to work on reconfiguring the entry by adding a new foyer and hallway leading to the enlarged kitchen while removing walls to open up the family room. The kitchen now boasts a 6’ x 10’ center island with natural quartz countertops. Stacked cabinetry was added for both storage and aesthetic to maximize the 10’ ceiling heights. Thanks to the large multi-slide doors in the family room, the kitchen area now flows naturally toward the outdoors, maximizing its connection to the backyard patio and entertaining space. Light-filled and serene, the gracious master suite is a haven of peace with its ethereal color palette and curated amenities. The vanity, with its expanse of Sunstone Celestial countertops and the large curbless shower, add elements of luxury to this master retreat.
