1920’s Casper Home Kitchen Updated Client Kitchen Remodel 124 is quite a fun and exciting update to a 1920’s Casper home. A small, quaint kitchen needed much updated storage. With one simple wall of cabinets, a sink and no dishwasher. Function and storage are a priority. With the addition of white shaker style cabinets to make the space light and bright, creating the appearance of a larger space. In addition, the use of tall wall cabinets draws the eye up for a taller appearance. As well as soft grey tile is added with a slight bevel edge for a beautiful wall splash. Tile offsets the cabinets beautifully as well as presents a fresh clean look in the kitchen. Finally, a beautiful granite countertop is chosen to tie the cabinets and backsplash together creating a beautifully appealing space. Stained Cabinets Cabinets chosen are Woodland Cabinetry with stained lace on maple. Kitchen cabinet door style fits perfectly in this quaint kitchen. This soft lace stain is just beautiful. Enhanced with vintage nickel knobs and pulls for the cabinet hardware. Farmhouse Sink A beautiful white apron-front farmhouse sink is perfectly suited in keeping the kitchen functional, light and bright. Surrounding the sink and topping the cabinets are the beautiful polished Grey Neuvo granite countertops. Including a bullnose edge to keep the kitchen soft and elegant. The calming beiges and cream tones of the backsplash and primary cabinetry pair with the stunning blue/green granite countertop of the entertainment island for bold statement.

We completed a luxury apartment in Primrose Hill. This is the second apartment within the same building to be designed by the practice, commissioned by a new client who viewed the initial scheme and immediately briefed the practice to conduct a similar high-end refurbishment. The brief was to fully maximise the potential of the 60-square metre, two-bedroom flat, improving usable space, and optimising natural light. 

We significantly reconfigured the apartment’s spatial lay-out – the relocated kitchen, now open-plan, is seamlessly integrated within the living area, while a window between the kitchen and the entrance hallway creates new visual connections and a more coherent sense of progression from one space to the next. The previously rather constrained single bedroom has been enlarged, with additional windows introducing much needed natural light. The reconfigured space also includes a new bathroom.

The apartment is finely detailed, with bespoke joinery and ingenious storage solutions such as a walk-in wardrobe in the master bedroom and a floating sideboard in the living room. Elsewhere, potential space has been imaginatively deployed – a former wall cabinet now accommodates the guest WC.

The choice of colour palette and materials is deliberately light in tone, further enhancing the apartment’s spatial volumes, while colourful furniture and accessories provide focus and variation. Photographer: Rory Gardiner

This French country-inspired kitchen shows off a mixture of natural materials like marble and alder wood. The cabinetry from Grabill Cabinets was thoughtfully designed to look like furniture. The island, dining table, and bar work table allow for enjoying good food and company throughout the space. The large metal range hood from Raw Urth stands sentinel over the professional range, creating a contrasting focal point in the design. Cabinetry that stretches from floor to ceiling eliminates the look of floating upper cabinets while providing ample storage space. This Paradise Model. My heart. This was build for a family of 6. This 8x28' Paradise model ATU tiny home can actually sleep 8 people with the pull out couch. comfortably. There are 2 sets of bunk beds in the back room, and a king size bed in the loft. This family ordered a second unit that serves as the office and dance studio. They joined the two ATUs with a deck for easy go-between. The bunk room has built-in storage staircase mirroring one another for clothing and such (accessible from both the front of the stars and the bottom bunk). There is a galley kitchen with quarts countertops that waterfall down both sides enclosing the cabinets in stone. There was the desire for a tub so a tub they got! This gorgeous copper soaking tub sits centered in the bathroom so it's the first thing you see when looking through the pocket door. The tub sits nestled in the bump-out so does not intrude. We don't have it pictured here, but there is a round curtain rod and long fabric shower curtains drape down around the tub to catch any splashes when the shower is in use and also offer privacy doubling as window curtains for the long slender 1x6 windows that illuminate the shiny hammered metal. Accent beams above are consistent with the exposed ceiling beams and grant a ledge to place items and decorate with plants. The shower rod is drilled up through the beam, centered with the tub raining down from above. Glass shelves are waterproof, easy to clean and let the natural light pass through unobstructed. Thick natural edge floating wooden shelves shelves perfectly match the vanity countertop as if with no hard angles only smooth faces. The entire bathroom floor is tiled to you can step out of the tub wet.

This narrow space has been used to integrate an L-shape kitchen with a dining area next to the balcony. The Timber-framed glass partition wall separates the kitchen with the central living space.
