Our clients have lived in this 1985 North Dallas home for almost 10 years, and it was time for a change. They had to decide whether to move or give the home an update. They were in a small quiet neighborhood tucked away near the popular suburb of Addison and also near the beautiful Celestial Park. Their backyard was like a hidden paradise, which is hard to find in Dallas, so they decided to update the two primary areas that needed it: the kitchen and the master bathroom. The kitchen had a black and white retro checkerboard tile floor, and the bathroom was very Tuscan. There were no cabinets on the main wall in the kitchen before. They were lacking space and functionality and desperately needed a complete overhaul in their kitchen. There were two entryways leading into the kitchen from the foyer, so one was closed off and the island was eliminated, giving them space for an entire wall of cabinets. The cabinets along this back kitchen wall were finished with a gorgeous River Rock stain. The cabinets on the other side of the kitchen were painted Polar, creating a seamless flow into the living room and creating a one-of-a-kind kitchen! Large 24x36 Elysium Tekali crema polished porcelain tiles created a simple, yet unique kitchen floor. The beautiful Levantina quartzite countertops pulled it all together and everything from the pop-up outlets in the countertops to the roll-up doors on the pantry cabinets, to the pull-out appliance shelves, makes this kitchen super functional and updated!

This renovated kitchen has white corian and natural oak cupboard fronts with grey quartz worktops. The splashbacks are fluted marble, and the floor is concrete. The appliances are all integrated. There is a generous peninsula and loads of storage.

Full remodeling of 2 entire hotels suite, including a kitchen, 2 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and custom closets and millwork. The project is a Floor to ceiling full remodeling, where we replaced all flooring, added beautiful wall covering and upgraded all lighting and dimmers. The Result is calm, serene, open spaces have been created. Guests can now come to these suites after a busy day in the heart of the city of NY and relax in these high end suites. The decor is modern and the color palette is neutral and refreshing to appeal to many different guests tastes. We also did a number of smart upgrades for the wireless control of the HVAC system, dimmers and electrical roller shades. This is the living room open plan space with a dining area. The kitchen has modern clean lines with all integrated stainless steel appliances. The counter top is the Sleek Concrete Caesar Stone. The backsplash is a high Gloss subway tile. Um das minimalistische Design der Küche nicht zu unterbrechen wurde der Durchgang zur Speisekammer wie eine weitere Hochschranktüre gestaltet. Dadurch bleibt eine klare Linie erhalten. Der Tresen aus Vollholz verbindet die Küche mit dem Wohnraum und bietet Platz zum Verweilen.

Full gut renovation and facade restoration of an historic 1850s wood-frame townhouse. The current owners found the building as a decaying, vacant SRO (single room occupancy) dwelling with approximately 9 rooming units. The building has been converted to a two-family house with an owner’s triplex over a garden-level rental. Due to the fact that the very little of the existing structure was serviceable and the change of occupancy necessitated major layout changes, nC2 was able to propose an especially creative and unconventional design for the triplex. This design centers around a continuous 2-run stair which connects the main living space on the parlor level to a family room on the second floor and, finally, to a studio space on the third, thus linking all of the public and semi-public spaces with a single architectural element. This scheme is further enhanced through the use of a wood-slat screen wall which functions as a guardrail for the stair as well as a light-filtering element tying all of the floors together, as well its culmination in a 5’ x 25’ skylight.

The challenge with the design of the kitchen lay in the staircase connecting this floor to the lower level having caused the floor to this level to be cut to allow for headspace. We hid the area by creating a plinth for the pantry. The client also wanted a study nook, so we extended the footprint of the original kitchen to create an end panel for the study nook, in which we placed the fridge.
