After. 10 feet wide- 12 feet high tiled media wall with electric LED fireplace - 2'X4' porcelain tiles, 60" LED TV, with 3 FT X 12 FT Silken Maple wood panel accents.

After finishing Devon & Marci’s home office, they wanted us to come back and take their standard fireplace and elevate it to the rest of their home. After determining what they wanted a clean and modern style we got to work and created the ultimate sleek and modern feature wall. Because their existing fireplace was in great shape and fit in the design, we designed a new façade and surrounded it in a large format tile. This tile is 24X48 laid in a horizontal stacked pattern. The porcelain tile chosen is called Tru Marmi Extra Matte. With the addition of a child, they needed more storage, so they asked us to install new custom cabinets on either sides of the fireplace and install quartz countertops that match their kitchen island called Calacatta Divine. To finish the project, they needed more decorative shelving. We installed 3 natural stained shelves on each side. And added lighting above each area to spotlight those family memories they have and will continue to create over the next years.

Due to its age and expanded use as an in-law dwelling for extended stays, the 1200 sf structure required a renovation and small addition. New window openings deliberately frame landscape and architectural elements on the site, while exterior finishes borrow from that of the main house (cedar, zinc, field stone) bringing unity to the family compound. Inside, the use of lighter materials gives the simple, efficient spaces airiness. A challenge was to find an interior design vocabulary which is both simple and clean, but not cold or uninteresting. A combination of rough slate, white washed oak, and high gloss lacquer cabinets provide interest and texture, but with their minimal detailing create a sense of calm. Act 1 Flooring installed this wood-look tile and and fireplace surround. The tile around the fireplace is a white marble-look. Wood-look tile is a great option for high traffic and wet areas.

The room, architecture and decor did not lend itself to a place for electronic equipment. The homeowner did not want to see any black boxes within the room. So we mounted the equipment vertically behind the 75" Sony XBR TV with Flagship Triad Soundbar on a articulating arm TV mount able to be easily moved out for access and service. Subwoofer mounted in the ceiling shown upper right of TV and Triad side/rear channels not shown. All easily controlled by a Control 4 SR260 remote or Control 4 7" Touchpanel within the room. Problems solved again and again!

Riverstone Residence was a new build Modern Masterpiece overlooking the manicured lawns of the prestigious Riverstone neighborhood that was in need of a cutting edge, modern yet classic spirit.' The interiors remain true to Rehman’s belief in mixing styles, eras and selections, bringing together the stars of the past with today’s emerging artists to create environments that are at once inviting, comfortable and seductive. The powder room was designed to give guests a separate experience from the rest of the space. Combining tiled walls with a hand-painted custom wall design, various materials play together to tell a story of a dark yet glamorous space with an edgy twist.

Qmotion Motorized screen roller shades provide moderate privacy depending on the fabrics percentage openness.

The existing fireplace received a new granite hearth and mantle. In addition, the room was transformed by adding ample cabinetry, making the entertainment center much more attractive and useful. Well-designed lighting makes the room more attractive, as well as more useful for the residents to display their art collection.
