This amazing über contemporary loft space is located in the heart of the very trendy and oh so upscale Yonge and Eglinton district. This loft oozes style and epitomizes the uptown lifestyle. It's raw industrial look really resonates with the uptown crowd. The polished concrete floors, exposed sprinklers. ductwork and huge 9ft barn doors all helped to set the stage. There was only one problem......it didn't sell! We were called in by the Realtor to give this loft and urban trendy vibe. We encouraged the clients to repaint utilizing a more current, trending palette. We choose a pallet of several grey tones. Our list of suggested updates included, switching out the light fixtures, replacing old worn carpeting with a Berber and staging utilizing key pieces one would expect with the loft look. We brought in contemporary furnishings and decor pieces including a live edge coffee table and a cowhide rug. All of these updates translated to SOLD within weeks of staging! Another successful transformation.

This yacht interior design project was overseen by Shelley DiCondina of Yacht Interiors by Shelley, a South Florida partner of One Coast Design. Michelle Woolley assisted with this project, commissioned for the painting hanging in the far corner. Michelle Woolley is an experienced interior designer as well as professional artist. She enjoys working with clients and close friends like Shelley DiCondina to create beautiful environments for your home on the water.

Composition #284 by Presotto, Italy. Wall mountable bookshelves and tv unit looks sleek in basalto "aged" oak and matt beige seta lacquer. Wall mounted base unit is finished with a smartphone dockstation. Audio devices are concealed without weakening sound diffusion. Led lighting illuminates the entire bottom of the wall mounted base unit with a touch switch. Lighting continues to the upper wall mounted cabinet to create a balanced look.

The composition center became the grey sofa. At the same, there are no doors and openings between the kitchen and living area, so the room at the same time perceived as a whole.

A drywall wall was created to recess tv and to work as a wall unit. Then we installed wallpaper (grasscloth in grey color) and added a white lacquer unit and decorative shelf. Two linear wall sconces on each side of tv unit, to create an intimate lighting. Egg chair, white linen drapery with yellow detail , cream and grey nylon rug, Lshape sofa in grey fabric, Arc lamp, Carrara marble flooring, yellow and grey color splash.
