In our world of kitchen design, it’s lovely to see all the varieties of styles come to life. From traditional to modern, and everything in between, we love to design a broad spectrum. Here, we present a two-tone modern kitchen that has used materials in a fresh and eye-catching way. With a mix of finishes, it blends perfectly together to create a space that flows and is the pulsating heart of the home. With the main cooking island and gorgeous prep wall, the cook has plenty of space to work. The second island is perfect for seating – the three materials interacting seamlessly, we have the main white material covering the cabinets, a short grey table for the kids, and a taller walnut top for adults to sit and stand while sipping some wine! I mean, who wouldn’t want to spend time in this kitchen?! Cabinetry With a tuxedo trend look, we used Cabico Elmwood New Haven door style, walnut vertical grain in a natural matte finish. The white cabinets over the sink are the Ventura MDF door in a White Diamond Gloss finish. Countertops The white counters on the perimeter and on both islands are from Caesarstone in a Frosty Carrina finish, and the added bar on the second countertop is a custom walnut top (made by the homeowner!) with a shorter seated table made from Caesarstone’s Raw Concrete. Backsplash The stone is from Marble Systems from the Mod Glam Collection, Blocks – Glacier honed, in Snow White polished finish, and added Brass. Fixtures A Blanco Precis Silgranit Cascade Super Single Bowl Kitchen Sink in White works perfect with the counters. A Waterstone transitional pulldown faucet in New Bronze is complemented by matching water dispenser, soap dispenser, and air switch. The cabinet hardware is from Emtek – their Trinity pulls in brass. Appliances The cooktop, oven, steam oven and dishwasher are all from Miele. The dishwashers are paneled with cabinetry material (left/right of the sink) and integrate seamlessly Refrigerator and Freezer columns are from SubZero and we kept the stainless look to break up the walnut some. The microwave is a counter sitting Panasonic with a custom wood trim (made by Cabico) and the vent hood is from Zephyr.

A young family with kids purchased their first home and contacted me with the task to design an upbeat and energetic space for them, which also will have all the functionality they needed. There were some restrains - a load-bearing beam ran across the space leaving very little wall space on the left available. We've chosen European size appliances and creatively resolved the corner to allow the sink placement. and added a ton of color and shine.

White herringbone backsplash adds a pop of texture to this modern kitchen redesign. Sleek Caesarstone countertops and gleaming stainless steel hood and appliances are as beautiful as they are functional. Storage is maximized with floor-to-ceiling DeWils shaker cabinets and a well-designed center island that seats five. After living in their home for nearly 20 years, for their second renovation of this kitchen they decided to do it right--a small addition to the rear of the home and large windows allow views of the backyard and light to flow into this warm contemporary kitchen. Sarah Robertson of Studio Dearborn helped her client renovate their kitchen to capture the views and vibe they were after. Pale rift oak cabinetry is punctuated with grey/blue glass uppers, bringing color and reflective light into this welcoming space. A tiny mosaic from Artistic Tile picks up on the blue theme adding texture and pattern to the calming vibes of this space. Photos Adam Macchia. Small but mighty. This cramped, dark kitchen got a modern update. The ceiling was raised to give the small footprint a larger feel. The custom blue cabinets and special touches give it its warm, inviting feel.

With its clean lines, contemporary design, and vibrant blue accents, this kitchen is the perfect blend of modern style and warm, family-friendly appeal. Whether you're cooking up a feast or simply enjoying coffee with friends, stepping into this kitchen makes you feel happy and energised. The client, located in Hammersmith, was looking for a dynamic combination of colours rather than a single monochromatic scheme. They were also very focused on functionality. With the skylight and glass doors bathing the room in natural light, there's no shortage of brightness here either. The bright blue glass splashback and blue bar stools add a pop of colour and interest. With its large breakfast bar that comfortably seats up to six people, plenty of storage options, and generous worktop space, this kitchen is perfect for cooking enthusiasts. The base units are in matte Crystal, while the tall units are in matt Agate Grey, both of which are from Pronorm's Y-Line range. The tall, dark cabinets and the Silestone Merope worktops in a gorgeous suede finish create a striking contrast with the lightness of the rest of the space. The island provides plenty of space for prep work and cooking and ample storage for food and utensils. Top-of-the-line appliances from Siemens are seamlessly integrated into the kitchen design, along with a ceiling extractor from Air Uno, a tap from Quooker, and a sink from The 1810 Company.
