Custom kitchen design featuring a mix of flat panel cabinetry in a dark stained oak and SW Origami white paint. The countertops are a honed quartz meant to resemble concrete, while the backsplash is a slab of natural quartzite with a polished finish. A locally crafted custom dining table is made from oak and stained a bit lighter than the cabinetry, but darker than the plain sawn oak floors. The artwork was sourced locally through Haen Gallery in Asheville. A pendant from Hubbardton Forge hangs over the dining table.

This home located in Thiensville, Wisconsin was an original 1950's ranch with three bedrooms and one and one half baths. The remodel consisted of all new finishes throughout with a new kitchen matching the existing kitchen layout. The main bath was completely remodeled with new fixtures and finishes using the existing cabinetry. The original half bath was converted into a full bath by using an adjoining closet for more space. The new bathroom consists of new custom shower, fixtures and cabinets. This project is a good example of how to fix up an outdated house with a low budget.

In order to open up this kitchen, many of the walls were removed and the window increased in size to create a pass-thru window. To store all of the glassware and dishes, we designed custom drawer organizer systems. The quartz countertops are a very close replication of a Calcutta Marble.

Among the 27 drawers in this kitchen is this extra-deep divided drawer that will accommodate 13" skillets.

Mom has two small children and loves to cook for her family. Each day she preps using fresh ingredients and "mise en place" is her motto, a culinary term meaning "everything in its place" so having her dishes and cookware close at hand and displayed beautifully was paramount.

This beautiful French Provincial home is set on 10 acres, nestled perfectly in the oak trees. The original home was built in 1974 and had two large additions added; a great room in 1990 and a main floor master suite in 2001. This was my dream project: a full gut renovation of the entire 4,300 square foot home! I contracted the project myself, and we finished the interior remodel in just six months. The exterior received complete attention as well. The 1970s mottled brown brick went white to completely transform the look from dated to classic French. Inside, walls were removed and doorways widened to create an open floor plan that functions so well for everyday living as well as entertaining. The white walls and white trim make everything new, fresh and bright. It is so rewarding to see something old transformed into something new, more beautiful and more functional.

As part of a complete remodel on this McKinney Avenue high rise condo, Edict designed a complete kitchen remodel. The cabinetry is 100% custom designed, no off the shelf or RTA cabinetry here. Made from rift cut white oak, the lighter cabinets have a clear coat natural finish and the darker cabinets are stained in an ebony finish giving a great sense of contrast and interest to this kitchen. The kitchen is packed with high end appliances including a Miele built in coffee machine, a wine fridge, Miele integrated hood and Miele gas cooktop as well as a deep single stainless steel sink, an integrated trash compactor and new integrated SubZero refrigerator. The kitchen's lighting has cable lighting for the main source of light which pulls in the industrial feel of the loft's exposed beams and ductwork, a new custom lightbox suspended above the new island with integrated LED cans and 3 pendants to light it. Also, above the ceiling panel, above the cabinets, under the cabinets and the toe kicks all have integrated LED lighting - all lighting is dimmable giving the most diverse options for a lighting solution. All of the cabinetry doors and drawers have Blum hardware and most are without handles for the most seamless look possible. Instead, one presses the drawers and cabinets and they pop open and close with soft close drawers. Hidden switches and outlets leave a stunning backsplash. Drawing inspiration from old-world Europe, Tuscan-style decorating is never short on drama or elegance. We brought a touch of that old-world charm into this home with design elements that looks refined, warm, and just a touch of rustic.
