A kitchen extension can turn a pokey cooking area into a large, open-plan space the whole family can enjoy. That is exactly what Asmat and Ramesh did with their beautiful Maidenhead home. The couple decided that Shaker cabinets were the clear choice due to offering a timeless, versatile appearance that suits a contemporary open kitchen. The newly extended open space has a beautiful flow to it. The wall cabinets feature a mixture of base and tall units including both a larder and pantry. These provide ample storage and are a real feature of the kitchen. A double farmhouse sink stands out well against our factory's hand-painted units which have been colour matched to Little Greene's French Grey. This neutral colour offers calmness when used in any space and suits both modern or classic styles. The kitchen island is another standout piece. Again using Little Greene's palette, it is painted in the Livid shade. A deep, moody yet restful colour, sitting somewhere between blue, green and grey. The island cabinetry contains a mixture of drawers, shelves and our fabulous glass-doored glazed cupboards with shelving. Finally, we have an eye-catching feature window seat. Also known as banquette seating, this space has been custom-built by our factory. A wooden seat with cabinetry below finished off perfectly with a stand-out wallpaper that really gives the whole open space a little colour. This stunning kitchen seamlessly merges contemporary aesthetics with functional elegance, creating a space where form meets function in perfect harmony. The backsplash, extending all the way to the ceiling, is covered with Dekton cladding, creating a statement wall that marries durability with aesthetic appeal. The island is adorned with dark wood slats that add a touch of warmth and texture, creating a dynamic visual contrast against the surrounding contemporary elements. The waterfall quartz on the island enhances the visual appeal and linear effect. Elevating kitchen's visual interest and functionality, bespoke open brass and glass shelving is strategically placed, offering a stylish showcase for curated culinary essentials and decorative items. The brass elements introduce a touch of opulence, creating a harmonious balance with the dark wood and sleek surfaces. Underfoot, the kitchen features limestone flooring that not only adds a timeless touch but also provides a durable and easy-to-maintain surface suitable for high-traffic areas. The neutral tones of the limestone contribute to an overall sense of understated luxury. The carefully curated colour palette of navy and taupe enhances the kitchen's sophistication, creating a timeless and welcoming atmosphere. Modern linear light fittings in brass adorn the kitchen, not only providing essential task lighting but also serving as striking design elements. These fixtures add a touch of contemporary flair and illuminate the culinary workspace with a warm and inviting glow.

The new back extension houses a large family kitchen with shaker style cabinets in various shades. Copper pendant lights as well as other copper elements have been used throughout the space. Base cabinets contrast perfectly in Farrow & Ball Down Pipe with the oak worktops and shelving- all attached to slate wall tiles that marry perfectly with the limestone flooring. The Farrow & Ball Chappell Green on the wall cabinets is illuminated by the LED strip light. A cream Rayburn with tray space to the right provides warmth for Toffee the dog.

Our clients had inherited a dated, dark and cluttered kitchen that was in need of modernisation. With an open mind and a blank canvas, we were able to achieve this Scandinavian inspired masterpiece. A light cobalt blue features on the island unit and tall doors, whilst the white walls and ceiling give an exceptionally airy feel without being too clinical, in part thanks to the exposed timber lintels and roof trusses. Having been instructed to renovate the dining area and living room too, we've been able to create a place of rest and relaxation, turning old country clutter into new Scandinavian simplicity. Gorgeous French Country style kitchen featuring a rustic cherry hood with coordinating island. White inset cabinetry frames the dark cherry creating a timeless design.

The owner wanted to change the interior of their home from mid-90s transitional to a French/Tuscan eclectic/farm/rustic look. She had a photo of the perfect look, so we incorporated elements from the picture in different ways. Adding reclaimed wood to the family room opening, and repeating the element on the custom range hood, adding stone veneer and a banquette to the turret-shaped breakfast nook, wrought iron details, a hint of cerulean blue in the open cabinet sections, rustic random size tile floor, and other visual elements. Custom color paint and glaze cabinetry provides a serene background. We needed to make space for a lot of appliances--Sub Zero 36" all-refrigerator, Sub Zero drawer freezer (island), oven, steam oven, warming drawer, microwave and coffee system--didn't allow for much cabinetry in the room, so we made every inch count in the kitchen, and expanded the pantry to a walk-through, and included a mini office. This is the mud room/garage entry to the walk-through pantry. Reclaimed paneling on the right wall is the same as the ceiling detail in the family room. Shelving on this side of the room holds picnic supplies, paper goods, small appliances, and office materials,
