This beautiful kitchen was designed by Cathy from our Nashua showroom. This transitional Showplace kitchen is in a newly constructed ADA home, designed specifically around the homeowners’ needs and disability. The kitchen design features a versatile, flat-panel door style with a medium matte finish and quartz countertops. The dual height island and special sink/stove aprons allow for a wheelchair to slide underneath with ease, which gives all members of the family a chance to participate in meal prep and socialization within the kitchen. Another special ADA feature is a special wall oven that opens side to side instead of up and down, allowing easier access for anyone in a wheelchair. Other special features include decorative glass doors, plate organizer drawer, crown molding that fades into the wall, and a wood hood. An absolutely beautiful home with all the features needed to assist the homeowner with everyday life. This semi detached property was lived in by the clients family since it was built in the 1970s. The brief was to create a space suitable for contemporary life whilst respecting the rich character of this home. Key items such as the brightly coloured sanitaryware and original built-in furniture were carefully set aside for reuse in the project. The challenge was not to find more space but to get the existing house working better for our client. The works were restricted to the footprint of the existing dwelling. The ground floor was opened up by moving the bathroom to the front of the house, creating a large bright living space overlooking the park to the rear of the property. The original parlour and master bedroom were re-instated in all of their original 1970’s glory. A playful exterior comprising of green timber screening and handmade tiles is contrasted by exposed timber joists and subtle natural finishes internally. This fourth-floor condo kitchen remodel was completed after the homeowners experienced water damage while away. Thompson Remodeling developed a galley kitchen design featuring clean lines and plenty of storage. Special touches included matching the cabinetry to an existing file cabinet that was to become part of the adjacent office area, special storage for dog food in the peninsula, and leaving an area above the cabinets to display the owner's quilts.

Ryan Fung photography millwork built by Hays Millworking This warm, yet modern kitchen combines natural materials, walnut, quartz, marble with high gloss lacquer cabinets to create a unique and inviting space. This condo kitchen used to be enclosed with very low ceilings. We opened up the walls to create a bright and open space. We were able to conceal the pipes and cables within the vertical cabinets so that the risers could continue to the floor above. The pendant lights are made from iron. The garbage pull-out centre has recycling, garbage and compost compartments.

This town house is one of a pair, designed for clients to live in this one and sell the other. The house is set over three split levels comprising bedrooms on the upper levels, a mid level open-plan living area and a lower guest and family room area that connects to an outdoor terrace and swimming pool. Polished concrete floors offer durability and warmth via hydronic heating. Considered window placement and design ensure maximum light into the home while ensuring privacy.
