After loosing our home in Tubbs fire we were struggling with the entire rebuilding process(soils report, survey topo, arborist reports, structural engineering, civil engineering, architect, etc). We made our decision to choose Design Build Co., after meeting you all amazing people-Jessica, John, Rob and Travis on our lot for the first time. We felt we were involved in every phase of the creative process, and you helped us navigate through the sea of options. Your knowledge, transparency, and guidance brought back hope, and made whole design process enjoyable.

We met Rob Auger down the street from our property when he was looking at a neighbor's lot. It was a chance meeting and after a short conversation he gave us his card. The builder we had planned on using did not work out so we gave Rob a call and it was the best call we could have made. We have been so pleased with his professionalism, his organizational skills, and his prompt attention to our needs. It has been a pleasure working with him and his staff. D&B is a rare find in construction. First, their integrated model of end to end design and build means that you have one team from start to end, from designer to contractor. In the design phase because the building team is involved they are very prescise to make sure you stay on budget. Then during build the designer stays with you to ensure success. They are open, Authentic and transparent. Everything is put on the table with nothing hidden. Whether there is good new or hard news (permit delays, issues that arise etc) they always have a solution mentality to get you to success. For example when the fires of Northern California cane they made me aware of potential commodity increases due to demand of new builds they made the plan work and were open and honest with communication. We actually unexpectedly had to move abroad during our build but because the design was done and the building team was included, I had 100 percent confidence in execution while my updates were via phone, email, pictures, video and FaceTime. I give them the strongest recommendation I possible can, no brained to go with them.

From the start of our project Design Build has been nothing but professional and extremely creative making my dream home come to life!!
