Windows reaching a grand 12’ in height fully capture the allurement of the area, bringing the outdoors into each space. Furthermore, the large 16’ multi-paneled doors provide the constant awareness of forest life just beyond. The unique roof lines are mimicked throughout the home with trapezoid transom windows, ensuring optimal daylighting and design interest. A standing-seam metal, clads the multi-tiered shed-roof line. The dark aesthetic of the roof anchors the home and brings a cohesion to the exterior design. The contemporary exterior is comprised of cedar shake, horizontal and vertical wood siding, and aluminum clad panels creating dimension while remaining true to the natural environment. The Glo A5 double pane windows and doors were utilized for their cost-effective durability and efficiency. The A5 Series provides a thermally-broken aluminum frame with multiple air seals, low iron glass, argon filled glazing, and low-e coating. These features create an unparalleled double-pane product equipped for the variant northern temperatures of the region. With u-values as low as 0.280, these windows ensure year-round comfort.

This creative transitional space was transformed from a very dated layout that did not function well for our homeowners - who enjoy cooking for both their family and friends. They found themselves cooking on a 30" by 36" tiny island in an area that had much more potential. A completely new floor plan was in order. An unnecessary hallway was removed to create additional space and a new traffic pattern. New doorways were created for access from the garage and to the laundry. Just a couple of highlights in this all Thermador appliance professional kitchen are the 10 ft island with two dishwashers (also note the heated tile area on the functional side of the island), double floor to ceiling pull-out pantries flanking the refrigerator, stylish soffited area at the range complete with burnished steel, niches and shelving for storage. A vibrant blue island is the centerpiece of this white kitchen. The backsplash picks up on the color with a blue subway tile and dramatic quartz countertops. Beautiful matte brass lanterns from Serena & Lily accent the island. The appliances are all Thermador.

This galley kitchen makes great use of a small kitchen/dining space in a studio rental unit. The kitchen includes a 24" range, an over-the-range microwave vent hood, and an 18" dishwasher. There is also room for a refrigerator and a stacked washer/dryer unit.

Boston's Beacon Hill neighborhood is decidedly Victorian to the casual observer. However, while this young family appreciates the Beacon Hill aesthetic, they preferred a more updated, contemporary interior to fit their urban lifestyle. We created living spaces with elements that both respected the historic architecture and gave the homeowners the modern, clean-lines they desired. The Eclipse Cabinetry Lancaster door is a classic shaker style with a beige painted finish, all accented by Top Knobs pewter finish knobs. A custom wood hood matches the cabinet finish, and a furniture style hutch with glass front cabinet doors. A Silestone Lusso quartz countertop is a perfect fit in this beautiful kitchen design, paired with Akua 3x6 pastel snow white glossy tile backsplash.
