This beautiful Mediterranean - Santa Barbara home has stunning bones, but needed a refresh on some of the finishes. Although we wanted to keep a Spanish feel, we didn't want Mexican tile everywhere. The kitchen received new tile on the backsplash, counter tops, copper sinks and cabinet hardware. The wood floor that runs through out the home replaced the exiting Saltillo tile. The cooking alcove for the range top was dated and arched. We opened up the arch to a more modern square. This gave the space more room. We added new tile that still has a Spanish feel, but a bit more contemporary. The fireplace in the adjoining great room received a new façade with a teal colored aged tile. This updated the space and popped a bit of color in the room.

Beautiful kitchen remodel that included moving the location of appliances and adding a large wall of pantry cabinets. Perimeter cabinets are Simply White with a Soft Gray Glaze. Island cabinet is Chelsea Gray with a Portabella Glaze. Monterrey Tile Company, Chicago Series-South Side porcelain stoneware tile on the backsplash. Cabinetry includes rollouts, mixer lift, dog food storage, double waste basket rollout, spice pull-outs, corner drawers, custom range hood, blind corner storage, charging station in end cabinet, and double tiered silverware drawer storage. Situated at the top of the Eugene O'Neill National Historic Park in Danville, this mid-century modern hilltop home had great architectural features, but needed a kitchen update that spoke to the design style of the rest of the house. We would have to say this project was one of our most challenging when it came to blending the mid-century style of the house with a more eclectic and modern look that the clients were drawn to. But who doesn't love a good challenge? We removed the builder-grade cabinetry put in by a previous owner and took down a wall to open up the kitchen to the rest of the great room. The kitchen features a custom designed hood as well as custom cabinetry with an intricate beaded details that sets it apart from all of our other cabinetry designs. The pop of blue paired with the dark walnut creates an eye catching contrast. Ridgecrest also designed and fabricated solid steel wall cabinetry to store countertop appliances and display dishes and glasses. The copper accents on the range and faucets bring the design full circle and finish this gorgeous one-of-a-kind-kitchen off nicely.

Backsplash with high gloss linear tiles with a bold blue color set in a chevron pattern. Thermador gas cooktop with custom XO vented hood. MSI "Calacatta Leon" quartz countertop. Painted flat panel cabinets using Benjamin Moore "Simply White". Island countertop is Cambria "Islington" and paint color is Benjamin Moore "Deep Royal". Light fixtures are Quoizel architect pendants in western bronze.

This modern farmhouse kitchen designed by Curtis Lumber Company, Inc incorporates many desirable features including a wet bar, stacked glass cabinets, pantry pull outs, swing up mixer shelf, custom hood and pot filler. The perimeter and wet bar cabinets are from Crystal Cabinet Works in the Danbury Inset door style, painted designer white. Homeowner needed more light, more room, more style. We knocked out the wall between kitchen and dining room and replaced old window with a larger one. New stained cabinets, Soapstone countertops, and full-height tile backsplash turned this once inconvenient,d ark kitchen into an inviting and beautiful space. We relocated the refrigerator and applied cabinet panels. The new duel-fuel range provides the utmost in cooking options. A farm sink brings another appealing design element into the clean-up area. New lighting plan includes undercabinet lighting, recessed lighting in the dining room, and pendant light fixtures over the island. New wood flooring was woven in with existing to create a seamless expanse of beautiful hardwood. New wood beams were stained to match the floor bringing even more warmth and charm to this kitchen.
