This inset kitchen was created with custom RTA cabinets to fit the exact space and avoid beans where necessary. Custom appliance cabinets and panels lend to a high-end look. The island is finished in Sherwin Williams Inky Blue and the Mixer Lift hides a fun pop of color that is easy to access when needed.

Settled on a hillside in Sunol, where the cows come to graze at dawn, lies a brand new custom home that looks like it has been there for a hundred years – in a good way. Our clients came to us with an architect's house plans, but needed a builder to make their dream home come to life. In true Ridgecrest fashion, we ended up redesigning the entire home inside and out - creating what we now call the Sunol Homestead. A multitude of details came together to give us the perfect mix of a traditional Craftsman with modern amenities. We commissioned a local stone mason to hand-place every river stone on the exterior of the house - no veneer here. Floor to ceiling window and doors lead out to the wrap-around porch to let in beautiful natural light, while the custom stained wood floors and trim exude warmth and richness. Every detail of this meticulously designed residence reflects a commitment to quality and comfort, making it a haven for those seeking a harmonious balance between refined living and the peaceful serenity of Sunol's idyllic landscape.

USI designed the kitchen to remove the conflicting colors of the original, orange tones from the teak wood cabinets (see before photos at the end)--- to fully custom walnut cabinets to create a more natural, aligned look with the existing beams. The result is in an updated, tuscan countryside kitchen! By changing the island to one level- with a light countertop, adding marble hexagon tiles as the backsplash and incorporating a contrasting island, USI was able to transform this kitchen into one beauty.

The exquisite transformation of the kitchen in Silo Point Luxury Condominiums is a masterpiece of refinement—a testament to elegant design and optimized spatial planning. Jeanine Turner, the creative force behind Turner Design Firm, skillfully orchestrated this renovation with a clear vision—to harness and amplify the breathtaking views that the condominium's generous glass expanses offer from the open floor plan. Central to the renovation's success was the decisive removal of the walls that previously enclosed the refrigerator. This bold move radically enhanced the flow of the space, allowing for an uninterrupted visual connection from the kitchen through to the plush lounge and elegant dining area, and culminating in an awe-inspiring, unobstructed view of the harbor through the stately full-height windows. A testament to the renovation's meticulous attention to detail, the selection of the quartzite countertops resulted from an extensive and discerning search. Creating the centerpiece of the renovation, these breathtaking countertops stand out as a dazzling focal point amidst the kitchen's chic interiors, their natural beauty and resilience matching the aesthetic and functional needs of this sophisticated culinary setting. This redefined kitchen now boasts a seamless balance of form and function. The new design elegantly delineates the area into four distinct yet harmonious zones. The high-performance kitchen area is a chef's dream, with top-of-the-line appliances and ample workspace. Adjacent to it lies the inviting lounge, furnished with plush seating that encourages relaxation and conversation. The elegant dining space beckons with its sophisticated ambiance, while the charming coffee nook provides a serene escape for savoring a morning espresso or a peaceful afternoon read. The natural light from the glazed patio bathes the space, accompanied by artificial light of the linear LEDs on the ceiling, where a visible steel beam from the original structure has been left.
